Jamia Hamdard offers admission to MBA based on national-level Management entrance exam like CAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, GPAT, or ATMA. However, if candidate has not appeared for any of the accepted entrance exam, they can stil get admission to MBA course. Candidates need to fufill any of the below conditions to get exemption from the entrance exam:

• Mid-career professionals with two years of work experience (after graduation).
• Aspirants in their final year of UG programme with four-year or above duration (BE/ BTech/ MBBS/ BA LLB, etc.) need to submit the aggregate marks up to sixth semester.
• Candidates who have obtained first division in at least two examinations out of three i.e. Class 10, Class 12, undergraduate with second division in the third examination. However, no candidates will be called for
  GD & PI if they failed to secure a minimum 50% or 5 CGPA on a 10-point Scale in their graduation.
• Candidates who have completed UG programme of four-year or above duration (BE/ BTech/ MBBS/ BA LLB, etc.) with at least 50% aggregate or CGPA of 5 on a 10 point scale

The next CMAT exam will be held in January 2026. The NTA will start registration for the same in November 2025. Those interested in appearing for the exam are required to register for it at CMAT-NTA website and fill the online application form. The score of CMAT will be valid for one year only, so if you appear for CMAT 2026, you must take admission in the same academic year.

Apart from 1300 B-schools, the CMAT score is also valid for admission through MAH CET CAP. The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts MBA/MMS admissions for 300 colleges in the state. It is followed by a common counselling process called CAP. CMAT test takers can also participate in MAH MBA CET CAP and secure a seat in MBA/MMS course offered by over 300 colleges in Maharashtra.

Jamia Hamdard offers two-year MBA (General) programme spread across four semesters. Students get to choose an elective during the course. Students can choose an elective out of the seven options, namely Finance,  Human Resource,  Marketing,  Operations Management,  Information Technology,  International Business and Entrepreneurship.

Jamia Hamdard admission is multi-step. Candidates can begin with the registration of MBA course. Once registered, the academic qualification and entrance performance of the aspirants is considered for first level of selection. The selection for MBA   (Public Health Management/ Hospital Administration) and MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) is on merit determined by the university based on performance in GD/ PI and marks in the graduation and industry work experience. After completion of all the selection rounds, Jamia Hamdard releases a selection list with the names of selected candidates.

The Jamia Hamdard University MBA fee structure is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, library deposit, alumni fund, etc. Some of these are one-time chargeable, while some are charged one-time. Jamia Hamdard MBA tuition fees is INR 5 lakh, hostel fees is INR 1.28 lakh, and one-time fees is INR 18,000. Additionally, the tuition fees for the Online MBA is INR 1 lakh. • Aspirants who have passed a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate or CGPA 5 on the 10-point scale can apply for Jamia Hamdard MBA course.
• Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. Their final admission is subject to the availability of final mark sheet/ provisional degree. Candidates from final year of the graduate programme need to submit the aggregate marks up to the fourth semester (for 3 year UG programme) and should be a minimum of 50% or CGPA 5 on a 10-Point Scale.
• Aspirants need to complete bachelor's degree in Pharmacy/ discipline with at least 50% aggregate for MBA Pharmaceutical Management.

The requirement of CUET score varies course-wise at Jamia Hamdard. The university considers CUET scores for admission to BSc, BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), BA, BJMC, BCom, BBA and BMS programmes. Besides passing CUET, aspirants must also fulfill the eligibility requirements specific to the preferred programme. The final selection is done considering both CUET and qualifying exam scores of the aspirants.
