Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia. The admit card can be downloaded any number of times till the day of examination by logging on to the official website of JMI. The admit card once issued is always visible on the dashboard. So, candidates should not worry in case of lost admit card. However, candidates are also advised to keep a soft copy with them for future reference so that they can take a printout if required. No, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates are advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, JMI admit card, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These are the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the JMI exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the JMI Entrance Exam exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the self-attested passport sized photographs pasted on it.

Candidates have to sign on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card in the presence of the invigilator. This acts as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case one has signed it before that, he/she can discard the document and take a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. In case a candidate realises this after reaching the exam centre, then they must notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. For the 2026-27 admissions, JMI will release the JMI Entrance Exam admit card for different courses a few days before the exam date. Candidates can download the admit card using their login credentials. After downloading the admit card, candidates have to take two printouts of it.

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of JMI entrance test admit card. However, it is not compulsory as Jamia Millia Islamia has not given any guideline regarding this. A black and white admit card will also work if the details such as photograph and text is clearly visible.

Yes, candidates can submit their objections against the JMI answer key within 48 hours after the same is published through electronic means. Candidates are required to pay INR 500 per programme to challenge the answer key. No grievance is entertained by the university without the payment of fee. The examination authority also do not entertain any requests submitted after the expiry of the time frame. Hence, candidates should raise their objections within the stipulated time.
