JMI Entrance Exam MA Visual Effects & Animation Pattern 2024: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The entrance exam for admission to courses consists of two sections – A and B. These sections are explained in the table below.

Candidates aspiring to get admission at JMI through the entrance exam must know the exam pattern. The most significant advantage a candidate will gain from understanding the JMI exam pattern is that it will allow them to anticipate the types of questions that will be asked on the exam. Candidates should also be aware that the exam patterns for undergraduate and graduate papers differ. A brief about the same is given below:

JMI Exam 2025 Pattern for UG Programmes:

• According to the test format for the JMI Entrance Exam UG programme, the question paper will most likely consist of 100 MCQ-type questions with a maximum score of 100.
• The question paper is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B, and the total time to complete the paper is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

JMI Exam 2025 Pattern for PG Programmes:

Similarly, the PG programme exam pattern indicates that the question paper will be divided into two halves (like with the UG test) and that students will be asked 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) or subjective questions for a maximum of 100 points. The JMI Entrance exam pattern as per programmes is described in the parts below.

For MSc Programme

• Duration of Exam: 105 minutes
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

JMI accepts CUET scores for admission to more than 20 of their courses. Aspirants who are taking CUET for admission to JMI courses, the pattern is as follows. 

CUET-UG 2025 Pattern

Each correct answer will be awarded 5 marks and each incorrect answer will be awarded -1. No marks will be awarded in case the examinee does not mark any answers. 

CUET-PG 2025 Pattern
