How admissions work
- Entrance-exam centric: Most schools and departments admit via a written entrance test (subject paper) followed in many cases by an interview or presentation. Some programs (e.g., MPhil/PhD) rely on prior academic record, research proposal, and interviews.
- Centralized process: Applications through JNU's online portal; selection lists published department-wise and category-wise (General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD).
