The JUIT placements for 2025 are currently in progress. • For B.Tech Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, candidates must have Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must have qualified JEE Main All India Rank for admission through JEE (Mains) mode.
• Candidates who have passed 12th from Himachal Pradesh are eligible for 10% reserved seats.

Jaypee University of Information Technology - JUIT has released the placement statistics for the 2021-2023 batch students for the batches of MSc, MTech, and BTech program. The highest and average packages offered to the students of the BTech course placements in 2023 was INR 44.14 LPA and INR 7.01 LPA, respectively. Out of a total strength of 494 students, 289 students were pllaced during the 2023 JUIT placements, including 336 BTech students. During placements in 2023, two MSc students and five M.Tech students out of total 17 were placed. The top recruiters for JUIT 2023 placements were Amazon, Fantaclaus, Infosys, Cognizant.

Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Solan was established in the year 2002. It offers 7 specializations under the B.Tech program, 4 under M.Tech, and 8 under the Ph.D. program. B.Tech is a full-time undergraduate programme of four years with a total of 510 seats. According to the official website of JUIT Solan, admission to B.Tech programme is through two modes:

1. Valid JEE Main scores and merit basis (marks obtained in 10+2 examination). 
2. For Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, 50% of seats are filled through JEE Main and the remaining 50% through merit in the qualifying examination.
