To enrol for BTech course admission at JIS University, firstly, candidates must complete Class 12 with 60% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects. The candidates also need to sit and appear for the JET entrance exam followed by GD-PI.

JIS University course admissions selection criteria are entirely based on the university-level entrance exam called JIS University entrance test JET-2024 for UG and PG courses. This is to note that, the aptitude test followed by GD/personal interview will be practised for every course admission at JIS University.
