To get admission to a four-year BTech course, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Admission to BTech is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission based on a valid score obtained in TS EAMCET exam. This is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). No, for admission to MBA at JNTUH, an aspirant must have a valid TS Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) score. Only the students with an exam score are shortlisted and called for counselling following which seats are allotted. There is no other way to get admission to a full-time MBA course at JNTUH.

To get a seat at JNTUH, Hyderabad, for the BTech course and its various specialisations, students have to first attempt the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET entrance examination and then appear in its counselling process to be considered eligible for admission. 

The JNTUH Andhra Pradesh EAMCET cutoff 2025 was released for various All India and Home State quota categories. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 42097 to 51490 for the BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering course.
