A peaceful life in college.
Placements: More than 90% of the people are getting placed, and companies from across the world are coming for placements, and even people from across the world come here to study. Students got internships from ISRO and even Tata, and many other top-end companies. Many roles are being offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities in hostel and in college are very good. College facilities are upgraded to highest facility, and hostel facilities are very clean and safe. You can get everything in the hostel. Labs are all very tech, and the hospital is nearby for the students.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful in teaching you. If you are well qualified, they even recommend you to industries during your studies, and you can work while you study itself, well, the faculty members give you courses which are really helpful for you in the future.

Absolutely disappointed with my campus placement.
Placements: Actually, I expected a lot from Karunya about placement, but I really disappointed. There are a few companies that are big in package. Most of the companies are startup companies, and the package was too low (2-4 lakh). We were paying fees for 4 years and hostel fees around 12 lakhs. It is not worthy to pay fees for placement.
Infrastructure: While coming to the infrastructure available for our course, we have the big library. Actually, food was one of the major problems there. Me and my friends suffered a lot. Many times, we complained to the management, but they didn't even care. Every two weeks, we had feedback about food and meetings. We used to say what we were facing and what changes should be made, but they just nodded their heads. There was no change in food, and as usual, it went worse.
Faculty: Faculty members were really helpful to me. They encouraged me a lot and inspired me. They were qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching skills were extremely excellent and superb. But some faculty members were not qualified, they didn’t even have knowledge. They just watched YouTube and Google, and copied from there. Semesters were really tough, but I overcame them with my faculty members' encouragement.
Other: My course was Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science and Cyber Security. This course was the most lovable and interesting one. This course helped a lot to build my career. And coming to fests, campus crowd, scholarships, and activities, they were really fantastic. I really enjoyed every moment in my college.

Well-rounded courses with supportive faculty, peaceful campus, and good placements.
Placements: I'm from the B.Tech CSE 2022 -2026 batch. Around 75%-80% of students in our course got placed. The highest package offered is close to 10 LPA, the lowest is around 2.4 LPA, and the average is about 3.6 LPA-4 LPA. Major recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, LTIMindtree, IBM, and Sabre, with some startups hiring for AI and full-stack roles. Roughly 65%-70% of students got internships, including companies like Sabre, Cognizant, and a few through the faculty and alumni network. Common job roles are software developer, AI intern, data analyst, and support engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus is surrounded by nature and is maintained very well. Our department has modern AI/ML labs, cloud computing access, high-speed Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms. The library is large, with both physical and digital resources. Hostel rooms are decent. You get water heaters, Wi-Fi, laundry, and cleaning services. Mess food is average but manageable, and you'll get other options in the food court and juice shops. Medical facilities include 24/7 emergency care. Sports infrastructure is decent. Football field, volleyball, basketball courts, and a fitness gym are all available.
Faculty: The faculty is friendly and supportive, and most of them are well-qualified, with either PhDs or industry experience. The curriculum is up to date, covering Python, machines learning, deep learning, data science, and IoT. Courses are taught with both academic depth and project-based learning. You'll also get access to platforms like Coursera and NPTEL for upskilling. Exams are not very tough if you attend classes regularly and complete assignments. The pass percentage is above 90% most of the time.
Other: The best part was the faculty support, access to resources, and placement opportunities. What I'd like to SEE improved is more research opportunities, stronger startup support, and global collaboration. But overall, my journey has been fulfilling and transformative, both academically and personally. Scenic hills surrounded the campus, and though it's located a bit far from the city, public transport is available, and the atmosphere is very calm and study-friendly.

Really good infrastructure, environment, and facilities.
Placements: The placements are pretty good for my batch. Top recruiters of my batch are Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Tata Technologies, etc. Some big product-based companies like Zoho and IBM also recruited some students, but they are very few. Over 97% of students were placed in my batch. The highest package offered in India is 14 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. One student from my batch got an offer of 67 LPA abroad. Most of the students were placed for the role of software developer and graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with modern laboratories. Wi-Fi connection is provided 24/7 in both campus and hostel. The library on the campus is very well-maintained with all types of books. There is a separate hostel for each academic year, and there is a separate mess for Andhra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and North Indians. They provide both veg and non-veg items. The hostel is equipped with playgrounds (both indoor and outdoor) and a gym.
Faculty: The teachers are super helpful in clearing all doubts, and they assist you with anything if you need guidance. The course curriculum is very relevant for gaining practical knowledge about the subject. The semester exams are a bit difficult if you plan on studying the day before the exam, so plan wisely and prepare yourself. The pass percentage is 87%.
Other: I'm always enthusiastic about technology and its advancements, so I wanted to pursue something in the field of technology. Since this is a Christian college, they don't conduct any cultural events, but they celebrate Christmas in a very grand way through an event called Megaplay. The event consists of choir, dancing, speeches, etc. Regarding scholarships, they provide them for students with 85% and above. They also offer a concession in fees for Christian students.

Karunya university student review.
Placements: The placement in this institution is above average, and you have to maintain a CGPA of 7.5 at the end of the 5th semester of the 3rd year to attend all the companies in the placement period. This college offers just above-minimal packages, starting from 3 LPA. Infosys and IBM are the top companies coming here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are neat and clean, labs are highly equipped, and the library has a great number of books, which is helpful for the students. College Wi-Fi has strict rules with only Chrome access in it, and you can't use it for our own purposes.
Faculty: Teachers are skilled and experienced; the quality of teaching will be great. There will be project-based learning as the course progresses. For the semester, you want to submit a project for project-based learning, which will be considered for the 3rd internal of the semester.

Foreign students can take admission in this college but the course is not available online. B.Tech CSE is a full time regular course and you will need to attend college.

Yes, you can definitely get admission in Karunya Institute of Technology for Computer Science and Engineering if the cut-off is 175 marks because the cut-off is too low than other institutions.
