College offers a perfect blend of studies and campus life.

Placements: Around 75-80 percent of students got placed in my course. The highest package is about 12 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average package is 5.5 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and Amazon visited the campus. About 60 percent of students also got internships in companies like HCL, Capgemini, and startups. The main roles offered are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Consultant.

Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi in classrooms, computer labs with good systems, and a library with many books and e-resources. The labs are updated and are useful for practical learning. Hostels are neat with basic facilities like cupboards, study tables, and 24/7 water. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen has better options. We also have a medical room, sports grounds, a gym, and indoor games. Overall, the facilities are good for both studies and daily life.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them explain topics clearly and give guidance for projects. The course syllabus is updated with subjects like AI and Cloud, which are useful for jobs. Exams are moderate, not too hard if you studied, and the pass rate is high (around 85 percent).

Not satisfied with the faculty members' knowledge, but having a good placement when self-learned.

Placements: 80% get placed. The highest: 24 LPA, the lowest: 2.5 LPA. TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc. Some might be very new startups. 30% of students make an internship, but most of the people don't do any internships. Companies for internships might be BNY, Goldman Sachs, etc. Software developer, finance officer.

Infrastructure: Facilities are old, but some of the people really don't have proper course knowledge. Even the knowledgeable ones just hesitate to teach. Labs for my course are good, having proper PC setup and repair stuff. Wi-Fi and faculty members are available. Classrooms are spacious.

Faculty: Teaching quality is average. Students have to do self-learning if they want to learn actual industry skills. The college just teaches the course, not the usage of that course in real life. As I said before, it’s just to make students exam-ready. Exams are easy.

Other: I just needed a computer major degree in my course. I get both computer and financial knowledge, that's why I chose that. Industry knowledge, practical knowledge, and faculty members are good. Events were quite good.

Honest Review of REC for students.

Placements: Almost 80% of them got placed in the 7th semester. The eligibility criteria to attend placements are no standing arrears and a CGPA > 7. In the 6th semester, placements will start. Top MNC companies like TCS, CTS, ACCENTURE, AMAZON, GOOGLE, and BNY MELLON came for recruitment. The highest package offered was 28 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: We have open Wi-Fi all around the campus and many labs for all departments. The hostel food quality and room are pretty average. Classrooms and labs are good enough. They don't give much importance to sports, but they give importance to events, symposiums, and hackathons.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are very friendly, not that strict. We have 3 CAT exams each month for 75 marks and a semester exam for 100 marks. Exams and question papers are not that tough; we can clear them easily. The pass percentage is 50, which is pretty high, but you can score easily. The curriculum actually meets industry needs, and B. Tech CSBS is one of the best syllabi because it was designed by TCS. So yes, you can join REC.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in both CS and business and also because I went through counseling. Maybe they can improve the way they teach. Coming to placements, it is very good actually. They also have cultural events, so it's fun.

I am satisfied as a student, best college for both studies and fun.

Placements: 7.5/10 is the good score without any arrears as it helps to be placed. The top companies are Infosys, TCS, Accenture etc. The highest package is above 12LPA and lowest is 6LPA. Software developer, Data analyst and Business analyst, Digital marketing are the roles offered.

Infrastructure: Excellent facilities and infrastructure. The quality of the facilities are so good and only veg foods are available in campus. You can order food from outside only on Saturday. Dine out are not done daily and outing are permitted. The quality of food is good and the medical facilities, sports and games are specially concerned and groomed.

Faculty: It's both useful for a tech and business enthusiastic person and the curriculum includes 50% programming and 50% business subjects. 6.5 out of 10 is the good pass percentage. In addition to subjects and syllabus you must need know about the current technology that will help you to sustain in the tech field so upgrade your knowledge.

Other: I am interested in both business and computer science related stuff, so I chose this course. My suggestion is to make an interaction between some entrepreneurial people and motivators, that really seems to help. The events, fest and extracurricular activities are really good.

Our college provides good teaching and an average infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has about an 85% placement record. Companies like Amazon and Infosys visit our college for placements. Students should atleast have a 75% GPA to get placed. If you join in the computer course, then you do not need to worry about placements at the time of 4th year as they prepare you for the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not bad. It is good for the fee you pay. It has only 3 canteens, and the food served is good for the price. You will not get non-vegetarian food here. There is one cafe coffee day and also one brownie shop. The food served in the hostel is average. The hostel has both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms.

Faculty: Faculty members teaching is good. Most of the teachers are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. At the end of the 4th-year, students become industry-ready. There will be 3 CAT exams before the end semester exams. Semester exams are of a moderate level. The pass percentage is 45%.

REC is doing well and has good placement record.

Placements: Placements are good in Rajalakshmi Engineering College compared to other colleges in the city. Almost more than 90% of the students get placed during their final year. Since Computer Science and Business System is a new course, can't say the dept placement records but REC is doing good in placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities like Labs, Classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is available only in One Block (Main Block) and the speeds are good. The main highlight is the AC bus in REC where all the buses are AC buses. Library is good but will be useful only from 3rd or 4th year. Hostel facilities are poor and food is also not so great. Hostel can be improved. There is no Sports in REC and There are 2 Canteens but which isn't enough for the college and huge crowd will be there and it takes 10-30 minds to get the food. Another canteen can be build in the college. That 1 star has been reduced due to poor facilities in Hostel.

Faculty: I would say the best teaching faculty members in REC where some teachers really teach well and some teachers are also good but they not perfect as others but overall the faculty is great and help the students to learn. The new course which is created by TCS is made in the view of making students Industry ready and Passing percentage is 50.

Other: I got 167.5 cutoff during TNEA admission 2020 studied Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus. I got CSBS by Luck in Rajalakshmi Engineering College. The best thing in our course is that they teach even the Business strategy and Business related things. Since I got government quota. I pay 1.35L (inclusive bus fee) fees every year. The college looks crowded but the environment is great. Seniors are friendly which makes the environment pleasant. Buses connect all over Chennai and connects Vellore, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur.

Really Good Infrastructure anf Facilities.

Placements: 90 percent of people getting placed a year those 10 percent also making startups and growing with their career The highest package offered is turbo packages nearly 36 LPA and the lowest 4.5 LPA Top recruiting companies on my stream is tata consultancy services and wipro Internships mostly every student goes for their preferred companies Top roles I heard is software enginner technician software tester .

Infrastructure: Every classrooms has high teach cameras for monitoring and another one cqmera for recording the classes which we can use for home study and for exam preparations Labs are especially good with no problem but sometimes the Wi-Fi is bit laggy and here the college hasa a huge library for accessing with a lot old to new books I am not an hostel student what I heard is the hostel food has a good quality and for sports there is a huge ground and a volleyball ball basketball court and also a turf for football.

Faculty: Yes the teachers are very helpful and are well trained and also friendly staffs they always helps in clearing the doubts after college hours. Every course makes the students ready for the industry 5.0 sem exams are quite easy compared to the CAT examinations from the college.

Rec the door to education .

Placements: Placement are really good at this college. As lot of companies visit this college ever year which includes zoho tcs Wipro and l and t. the Placement percentage at this college is very high as they have 95 plus percentage for Placements. This college is the best when it comes to Placement .

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is very decent and good as we have Wi-Fi labs classrooms and libraries and we also have air conditioned buses for almost all the routes and we have the good food at this campus but it's vegetarian and no nonveg allowed in the campus .

Faculty: Faculty here are very friendly and calm going and the course which I chose is the best and highly recommended course in this college and my course makes the study industry ready as my course is designed and monitored by tata communication and services tcs.

Other: The campus is really good the cultural events are the best and they provide scholarship as well.
