DM stands for Doctor of Medicine, which is a super-specialised course in the field of Medical. Candidates can only pursue this course after getting a PG degree in Medical. For admission to a three-year DM course at KGMU, aspirants must get a PG degree in either MD/ MS or any equivalent from a recognised institution recognised by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Admission to this course is entirely based on NEET SS entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for DM is standard for all NEET SS aspirants. 

Yes, King George's Medical College does offer a library facility to its students. It has a collection of 44,862 books, 29876 bound volumes, 3883 print theses and 1316 DVDs / CDs. The library operates on the software KOHA and uses OPAC-SOUL software so that students can access the digital database of the library.  It is subscribed to 194 print journals, 4410 e-journals and 4273 e-books, providing the students and faculty with plenty and the best resources. KGMU grants admission to various UG and PG courses on the basis of various exams. For MD and MS specialisations, the cutoff is released on the basis of NEET PG.
