LPU LLB Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Apart from all the UG courses, LPU also offers LLB programme for a duration of three years, LPU LLB admission is based on candidates' performance in LPUNEST entrance exams. Applications are currently invited for the LLB programme for the academic session. Candidates seeking admission to this programme need to apply through LPUNEST. The below table indicates the minimum eligibility criteria of the programme:

A pass in any UG degree with 50% aggregate or the criteria of awarding board/ university is considered. There is a 5% relaxation for SC/ ST candidates and 3% for OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants are eligible for 5% relaxation. |

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.
The LPU average package offered to the top 10% and 25% the batch 2025 stood at INR 12.3 LPA and INR 12.3 LPA. The top 10% average salary of the MBA, CSE and EEE batch 2025 was INR 13.6 LPA, INR 14.97 LPA and INR 12.97, respectively.
LPUNEST 2026 phase 4 exam started on June 6 for both test centre and remote-proctored mode. The last exam date was June 30.
The LPU NEST phase 3 exam 2026 started remote proctored exam and test centre exam on May 4, 2026. Exam last date was May 20, 2026.

The application fee can be paid online if the application form is filled out online. The application fee can be given as a demand draft if the application form is submitted offline. If the DD is not enclosed or DD is wrongly drawn, the application form will not be accepted. The application fee has to be paid to submit the application form.
