Overview of MMMUT Gorakhpur.
Placements: About 60-70% of students get placed, others go for higher studies, or some with very bad academic records don't get placed. The average package is not that high. But placement records are getting better with every upcoming batch. This year, we get over 1000 placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not that great, need maintenance and renovation. Infrastructure of the department is above average. Lecture halls for first year and second year are fully air-conditioned, and those that are not are also expected to be by the end of 2025.
Faculty: Teachers are okay but mostly you will have to rely on self-study. With little and consistent effort, one can do well in exams. Teachers are very well learned but they will help you only if you show interest otherwise, they are just going to take lectures and be on their way.

Good placement in 2025. It is a well-reputed university.
Placements: Currently, I am studying in the 3rd year of Selection and Communication Engineering (Internet of Things), and we are the first batch in this branch. The first placement from this branch will happen in 2027. After that, I will provide details about the placement of seniors in this branch.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available, Wi-Fi is available 24 hours, both in the lecture room and in the hostel. All classrooms have digital boards, along with AC. Classrooms are good, with fans, AC, proper ventilation, and digital boards. The library is also good, with almost all the books present that are in the syllabus. The food is average, not the best, not bad.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help with every doubt regarding lectures, projects, and placement-related issues. The ECE IoT branch is good, and its curriculum is also good. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is more than 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I got it. This course is very good. Events and fests are good.

Really large campus, but not maintained properly.
Placements: Placement are below average as not that many companies come to this location, the main reason for this is the location of Gorakhpur. Placements are actually below average due to location problems. It can be really tough to get a good placement on campus due to this problem.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average as most of the buildings are either under construction or not properly maintained except for the first years lecture hall complex. Also, the situation of the hostel is really bad especially in rainy seasons as the ceiling always leaks and may also fall.
Faculty: The course is average. It follows the course curriculum similar to AKTU but slightly different as in 2011 it became a separate university. But either way, the curriculum is effective and easy to handle and also encourages the students to take part in extracurricular activities.
Other: Events are trash.

Placements: Placements at MMMUT are decent, and students get good opportunities in various companies. MMMUT offers moderate placement opportunities, but dedicated students secure good positions. The placement scenario is average, yet students have multiple opportunities to grow.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities at MMMUT are satisfactory with basic amenities. MMMUT hostels offer a decent living environment with necessary facilities. Hostel life here is average, but comfortable enough for students.
Faculty: The course curriculum at MMMUT is well-structured and covers core technical subjects. The exam pattern is fair and tests both concepts and applications. Faculty members at MMMUT are knowledgeable and supportive of students. Professors are well-qualified, but teaching methods can be more practical. Faculty members guide students well, though industry exposure could be improved. Teachers are helpful and approachable, making academics easier to understand.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and problem-solving. More focus can be given to research and innovation activities.

Good infrastructure and environment. The facilities for the studies are good.
Placements: Average package of this college is 7.95 LPA, which is good but that not much good enough if a student want more higher package then he should develop his own skills and join the company through his efforts as college will not provide you that much, but and colleges there are some benefit and which gives up to 16 LPA to 18 LPA package for better placements. You should watch for campus placements, as there is no limit to the package, as you know.
Infrastructure: Quality of this hostel rooms is good for those who not belongs to that city or up to 50 km is to take a hostel room it's not that much good but it is more good enough to make sure that you live a good and better life, so I think student should take hostel rooms in colleges as well as their communications and other perspective should be change.
Faculty: There are teachers who are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good enough to make sure that you understand more efficiently and thoroughly. The course that you are studying is relevant to the students' industry, so what you are going to study in this course is helpful. The semester exams, which are held in our college, are the same as everywhere.

The college has a hostel, labs, and placements.
Placements: Placements are available. On-campus placements, the salary package offered ranges from 7-9 LPA. In 2024, the salary package offered for 3-4 students on-campus placement was 23 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is available. The college is good. Students can't live in the hostel, but they have to survive in the hostel. Toilets are bad. The infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Some faculty members are not good. Some teachers do not know how to pronounce the default word. Some teachers are good, and they are also good at teaching, so we do not need to study on YouTube. Some teachers make us study from PDfs.
Other: Fests are held regularly.
