Yes, the Manipal University Jaipur has an entrance test on courses like the BTech. The first exam is referred to as MET (Manipal Entrance Test). Applicants to the BTech programme are required to have a Class 12 pass of 60 percent aggregate or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects and Chemistry/Computers Science/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Statistics/ Engineering Drawing as optional subjects.

Manipal University Jaipur does not provide direct admission to all the courses. However it does provide direct admission to some of the courses such as BCA, BBA, BA, BCom.
