This college has limited opportunities for mechanical engineering.
Placements: In VIT there is a centralized placements cell so opportunities for all campus student is equal. Around 60% of students are placed in mechanical branches. The highest salary package offered is 14.6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Flipkart, Amazon, Mahendra, Volvo, Euler Motors, IBM, TCS, etc. The top role offered in mechanical is operations manager at Amazon. Many students have gone abroad for MS.
Infrastructure: Our college is still being built. They do not have enough infrastructure so they are taking classes online mode for junior batches. Wi-Fi is available on campus 24X7. Classrooms are good, but the library is not up to the mark. Sports facilities are moderate. Doctors are available in a hostel on call 24X7. It also provides a mess facility, and the cuisine quality is very good. Many amenities are not available in this college.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are 100% doctorates. The majority of them are masters and Ph.D. scholars from abroad. They adhere to the curriculum that encourages research. Teachers are experienced, qualified, and helpful. Exams are challenging in offline mode. The grade is completely dependent on the class average.
Other: The mechanical branch lacks sufficient opportunities. Advitya is an annual techno-cultural festival. There is a stars scheme for district topper of MP students, under which they are eligible for 100% scholarships. Around 40 tech and cultural clubs are there. Numerous activities and contests are conducted to develop students' talent.

The experience in this college is above average and still has some room for improvement.
Placements: Highest package was 45 Lpa.
Average package is 6 lpa.
The lowest was 1 lpa.
The top recruiting companies for this course was Microsoft, Flipkart, and some other small companies. 20% students received internships at reputable companies. Interns and managers were the most commonly given roles to the students.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the college and hostel is average, labs are still under construction/development, classrooms are well built but the library is not been made properly. The quality of facilities at the moment are just above average, quality of food is pretty good compared to most colleges, they lack proper medical facilities and sports and games are still under development but will soon be accessible.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable as they all have a lot of experience and have all completed their PhDs. The college exams can get quite difficult in offline mode, we all know the condition of online exams so no comments on that.

This college was only my option so I came otherwise I wouldn't have for the next 5 years.
Placements: Around 70% were placed.
14 lakh is the highest, 2 lakh is the lowest and 5 lakh is average package.
Amazon, flipkart, IBM, TCS, Mahindra are top recruiters.
Everyone has to do internship.
Placements are centralised and all four campus students have to seat together in campus.
Mechanical branch has limited placements option

Infrastructure: College is not fully built. It is under construction.
Only hostel and academic block are built.
Facilities are limited.
Canteen is available with mess.
Food is mostly southern.
Doctor is available 24/7 with first aid knowledge.
Sports like volleyball, basketball, badminton, football are there.
Faculty: Teachers are all well knowledge.
Semester are exam are moderate.
CSE branch has good teachers and facilities.
All teachers are Ph.D. but don't know how to teach.
Online teaching was not worth it for covid times.
80 percent graduated.
Well it only the first batch graduated

Other: Mechanical branch do not have enough equipment for practical.
Fests are Rivera & advitya.
Scholarship are for star student scheme.
Wi-Fi connectivity is only limited to hostel.

Everything is good here, but there are restrictions also.
Placements: The highest salary package offered in the placements till now is 45 LPA for the 2018 batch, which is good as it is the 2nd passing out batch. Till now, placements are centralised, and students have to go to the Vellore campus for placement activities. Now Bhopal campus also has its own placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. There is only one hostel building for boys and a separate building for girls. The construction of 2 new hostel buildings is completed. The quality of the food served is very good, and we get 4 meals a day, which is good and tasty.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are doctorates, but you can contact them directly. There will be a quality circle meeting in a semester, and you can raise a complaint there. About 75% of attendance is compulsory, and if you have attendance above 96%, then you will get 5 marks.

I am satisfied with the placements, infrastructure and faculty members of the college.
Placements: VIT Bhopal has excellent placements. In the last year, the highest salary package offered was 41.6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 7.25 LPA. The number of dream and super dream offers provided here has increased by a good percentage compared to previous years. CSE students have better placement opportunities than other branches students'. However, many students from other branches like mechanical and electrical got placed in core companies with dream and super dream offers. I am confident that students get salary packages what they deserve.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fantastic. There are separate boys and girls hostels with 2 to 8 sharing rooms. Wi-Fi facility is available for 24 hours in the college and hostel as well. The quality of the food served in the mess is very good. There are many technical labs and one library which contains many technical and non-technical books. The campus life is very good, but the rules of the college and hostel are very strict, which are good as per parents.
Faculty: VIT Bhopal has 100% doctorate faculty members. All the faculty members are well qualified and very supportive. The method of teaching here is defined as CALTech (Collaborative and Active Learning through Technology). This activity-based learning emphasises the skill enhancement of students.
