MIT-WPU Pune does not offer direct admission to its UG and PG courses. MIT-WPU course admissions for all courses are either done via MIT-WPU CET, which is conducted by the university itself. The university also accepts various state and national-level entrance exams such as PERA CET, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, NEET UG, etc. Those who want to get admission to any of the UG and PG courses at MIT-WPU, must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place and then appear for the respective entrance exams. For some PG courses such as MBA and MCA, the university also accepts valid scores in personal interview rounds as part of their selection process. The final seat allotment is done based on the counselling rounds.
CAT cutoffs are usually not announced with the CAT result. The CAT cutoffs are also not released to the public.
They are published after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. Further, during the commencement of the course, students get an opportunity to pursue a six-month mandatory internship to implement practical learning.
