It is a decent government college.

Placements: The placement scenario is not much better in this particular year. However, almost 80-85% of the batch students get placed. However, the scenario will change over time, as our seniors have said. Our college is said to have the best placements among all NITs. So students can trust it.

Infrastructure: I live in the first-year girls' hostel, and the infrastructure is really good. It has a common hall where a lot of games are there, like table tennis, a badminton court, etc. The mess food is decent. There is also a gymnasium for girls. I haven't gone there, but I have heard it is pretty nice.

Faculty: It is not very difficult to pass if we study decently. Topics are from what professors would teach us throughout our semester. Moreover, practical and stuff are there, so we will not fail for sure even if we are not good at theory. I suggest students just focus on the class and review topics, and they are done.

Other: Events and fests are good, but not extravagant. I suggest students do not expect much in a way that they will enjoy it more.

Overall, it's a well-organised college.

Placements: If we talk from the same year students, then they are not satisfied with placements and internships because many students do not get any kind of placements or internships. I got the job offer from Intex Mobile with a package of 30 LPA, and it is a very good achievement for me. I am very happy with placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are good. Classrooms have fully fitted fans. There is no any kind of air-conditioned but the ventilation in classrooms is good. The canteen is air-conditioned with a proper sitting area and a wider choice of food items. No any kind of sports and games are provided by the college authority.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are very educated with excellent presence of mind. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is good. Semester exams are not very tough, and they are easy.

Other: No any kind of extracurricular activities are provided by the college like yoga, music, or games so that is to be improved.

Description of MNNIT Allahabad.

Placements: The placement session of 2025 is still going on but till now the maximum package is of 71.14 LPA, the average is 17.68 LPA, and the median package is 11.4 LPA. More than 530 companies have visited. Top companies that visited are Accenture, Wipro, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, Honda, etc.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi service is available on the whole campus. The library hours are from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM which gets extended to midnight during exams. The campus size is big you have buildings for different departments and also 2 cafes and few canteens and shops are present from which you could get all stationaries and needed items. Hostels are also big and with above above-average mess service. The dispensary is there for medical issues with Apollo Medical Store. 1 athletic ground, 1 basketball court, 1 volleyball court, and badminton court are also available.

Faculty: It varies from teacher to teacher but most of the working staff and teachers are helpful. HOD of the departments (mechanical) are organizing many activities for the mental health of students. If you attend classes regularly then you could score above 70% in exams. The passing percentage is decided on batch performance due to relative grading.

Other: Seniors are the most helpful and guiding person in this college, so try to have connections with seniors. Join clubs according to your interest as there are many clubs that are helpful for your project and POR (position of responsibility).

Placements: My college provides good placements. Nearly 80% of students secure jobs in top companies. The highest salary package offered for this course ranges between 18 LPA and Rs. 3,00,000 per year. The internship rate for this course is 60%. Many top role positions are offered to my course students.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my department were so good and beautiful. Wi-Fi and classrooms are available in college but libraries are not present. The hostel facilities are good. The canteen food is good and tasty. Medical and sports facilities are available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They have great teaching qualities. The course curriculum is not relevant but makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is more than 80%.

Other: I chose this course to get the best knowledge. There is no wish to improve in my course.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in my course is always greater than 40% in the year. The highest and the lowest package offered in my course is around 18 LPA - 20 LPA. The percentage of internships in my course is 80%. Top companies are Tata and Cisco.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available for students. The infrastructure is super. Wi-Fi, classrooms, a library, and all things are available in my college. Canteen facilities are not available. A medical os present in my college. It is very bad. Sports and games are held in my college.

Faculty: Teachers in my course are so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All teachers had great teaching qualities. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in my college are so difficult. The pass percentage is 80%.

Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2025 irrespective of their age, are also eligible. Note: List of qualifying examination(QE): i). The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc. ii). Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. iii). Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy iv). Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. v). Everything depends on category, and the cutoff which varies from year to year. For general category, 15k rank may be the last at which you can get admission in MNNIT. For mechanical engineering, it can be 7k approx
