It has strong academics and infrastructure with decent facilities. Students need self-efficacy.

Placements: In my course, around 90 percent of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is around 60 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 6 LPA. The average package ranges from 10-12 LPA. Top roles offered are graduate engineering trainee, core engineering roles related to the mechanical branch, consultant roles, and software roles for interested students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. The college looks simply beautiful with a lush green campus and an aesthetic cafe named Dewsis with good hostel rooms. In short, the college infrastructure is worth paying for and worth studying for a good rank.

Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. Professors have very good teaching skills. Professors are very friendly in nature and help in clearing every doubt. They help in every situation. Many are from IITs like Kanpur, Roorkee, and BHI Bombay, which shows the level of the college.

It is a nice college. I suggest students take admission in this college.

Placements: The placement rate is 90 percent. The highest package offered is 63.78 LPA, which is the highest among placements for ME in 2025. The average package offered is 10.41 LPA for the ME branch. It is not separately reported for the ME branch. Overall, the lowest package offered across all B.Tech courses is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Tata Power, Vedanta, Ashok Leyland, Reliance Power, Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL), and Bharat Petroleum (BPCL). I do not have an idea about internships offered to students. Mechanical Engineering students at MNNIT can land a wide range of roles, from traditional mechanical design and production to consulting, analytics, tech, and operations, depending on the company and skill set.

Infrastructure: Our college has high-speed campus-wide Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity, including in hostels. There is a central library with a large book collection. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. Rooms are single, double, and triple sharing, depending on the year. New hostels (especially for first years) are generally good and clean.

Faculty: Our college has good faculty members, a relevant course curriculum, moderate exams, and a high pass rate. Exams are moderate to sometimes challenging. If we attend classes and study, then they are manageable. The course curriculum is mostly relevant to engineering and helps build fundamentals.

Review of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.

Placements: A super percent of students placed in this college is so good, nearly 90 percent. The highest and the lowest packages in this course are so close to 18 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course are so superb. The percentage of student internships in this course is 60 percent.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in this college are very good. Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library are available. The food in the college canteen is very tasty, but medical facilities are not available. Sports and games are present in this course for all the students in college.

Faculty: The teachers in this course are so superb. The teaching quality is so good. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exam in this college is so good and easy. The pass percentage is more than 90 percent in my college.

Other: Events and the campus crowd are so superb. Scholarship is also available.

It is a decent government college.

Placements: The placement scenario is not much better in this particular year. However, almost 80-85% of the batch students get placed. However, the scenario will change over time, as our seniors have said. Our college is said to have the best placements among all NITs. So students can trust it.

Infrastructure: I live in the first-year girls' hostel, and the infrastructure is really good. It has a common hall where a lot of games are there, like table tennis, a badminton court, etc. The mess food is decent. There is also a gymnasium for girls. I haven't gone there, but I have heard it is pretty nice.

Faculty: It is not very difficult to pass if we study decently. Topics are from what professors would teach us throughout our semester. Moreover, practical and stuff are there, so we will not fail for sure even if we are not good at theory. I suggest students just focus on the class and review topics, and they are done.

Other: Events and fests are good, but not extravagant. I suggest students do not expect much in a way that they will enjoy it more.

Overall, it's a well-organised college.

Placements: If we talk from the same year students, then they are not satisfied with placements and internships because many students do not get any kind of placements or internships. I got the job offer from Intex Mobile with a package of 30 LPA, and it is a very good achievement for me. I am very happy with placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are good. Classrooms have fully fitted fans. There is no any kind of air-conditioned but the ventilation in classrooms is good. The canteen is air-conditioned with a proper sitting area and a wider choice of food items. No any kind of sports and games are provided by the college authority.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are very educated with excellent presence of mind. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is good. Semester exams are not very tough, and they are easy.

Other: No any kind of extracurricular activities are provided by the college like yoga, music, or games so that is to be improved.
