Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. There are a lot of labs available for civil engineering students. Hostels are provided with free Wi-Fi. A dispensary is available for medical emergencies. The quality of the mess food may be of decent quality.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have completed their graduation from NITs. They have a lot of knowledge to share with students. They use both languages, Hindi and English, to interact with their students. Semester exams are a little difficult, but you can pass easily.
Other: I like infrastructure, so I chose it.

Best placements. Average infrastructure. Average sports facilities.
Placements: Placements are really good for Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering. Talking about my branch, Civil Engineering, this year our senior Abhinandan sir has got a package of 22 Lacs per annum. This college is known for its best placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite average if I compare this college to other colleges like NIT Jaipur. 1st year and 4th year hostels are good, but 2nd and 3rd year hostels have small rooms. Mess food is average. The internet connection is not good enough to play games unless you have 5G.
Faculty: All the professors are from IITs. They have a deep knowledge of their subject. Although some lab assistants might be rude to you. This college has produced several GATE AIR 1 in the past few years. It's difficult to provide an overall view of semester exams since it depends on the subject and professor.
Other: I chose this college since it is a top NIT, and also it's quite near to my home. We have culrav as our cultural fest and Avishkar as our Technical fest.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Most of them are graduates from IITs and NITs. The course of this college is enough to make any student ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too tough but not easy also. You should start preparation at least one month in advance to get a good score.
Other: I opted for this course because I like the infrastructure, and I want to build some buildings.

I say it is good, not the best.
Placements: Currently, there are no placement in civil engineering in the core sector. Students are getting placed in tech sector who know about the software. 28.9 LPA is the highest package offered in tech sector. The lowest is about 4.5 LPA-7.5 LPA is the average package. Recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Projects, GMR, Simple, Afcons, and PSUs like BHEL and BPCL. About 80 percent of students got internships that include teaching as well at Wipro, TCS, and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: Most of the classrooms are old-style like school classrooms, and not IIT-type classes. The infrastructure is very old, and some of the classes, like SEW7 and SEW8, have a water leakage issue in the roof. Some classes, like NLH1 and NLH2, are very good, like an IIT type. First year hostel named SVBH is very good with all facilities like Wi-Fi, TV, badminton court, canteen, and boundary. But in the second and third year hostel, rooms are very small to accommodate two people. The fourth-year hostel is top-notch. The quality of the food is good.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good but not all the teachers are helpful. The course is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. If you study normal, you can easily pass. Semester exams are at a good level. Students can get marks easily. 90 percent of students pass.
Other: I want to become a civil engineer. I took this because whenever I SEE foreign countries, how well planned they are and good infrastructure facilities, then I think why not India. I wish more labs happened in this course instead of theory. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, are good. Scholarship is also available for needy students. EAA activities are allotted to every student.

The placements have not been good this year, but they have one of the best placements for NITs.
Placements: Placements are not satisfactory. They used to be good before, but in recent years, the placement percentage and the placement packages have declined greatly, especially for the core branches like Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi quality is downright bad, you won’t get any good speed here. I would rather recommend you use your own Wi-Fi. The infrastructure is not bad, but as compared to other national institutes, it is subpar. The main problem here is the underpass.
Faculty: Faculty are average for most of the subjects, with very few exceptions. The teachers here have accents, and their English, oh my god, don’t let me start on that. They are trying their best, but it’s not helping anyone, and that’s just it.
Other: Campus life is great, except for the underpass restrictions and in-time problems.

Decent campus life, but placements are concerning.
Placements: In civil engineering, in the previous year, in 2025, about 100 students out of 114 were eligible to sit for the placement. Out of those, 50 students got placed. The highest package was around 18 LPA, and the average was around 9 LPA, while the median package was around 7.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Most of the classes are air-conditioned except for a few, and there are well-managed labs for each department. There is a library and grounds to play, along with a gym and other sports facilities. Hostels are well equipped with facilities like two rooms for sports on each floor. There is a LAN facility on each floor for each room. The rooms are quite big and spacious, along with a separate balcony for each room. Each room has a separate study room. There is a good facility of canteens in the hostel and all over the campus, along with two cafes.
Faculty: Professors are well qualified and knowledgeable in their fields, along with the moral values they teach. Courses are relevant to our fields, and they provide flexibility in the courses to explore other domains, like software consultancy. Extra courses are provided apart from the regular courses to explore other branches. Semester exams are not too difficult. They are decent. The standard pass percentage is decent.
Other: This course provides good insight into the structures and their construction. The course is lengthy, and the starting semesters are more theoretically based. Events are held every year along with the freshers. The campus is pretty decent. Scholarships are provided, and extracurricular activities are held from time to time.

Good placement in 2023, ragging-free, and mess food is good.
Placements: In civil engineering, placement percentage is generally about 90% every year. The highest package is about 28 LPA this year 2025, the lowest is about 8 LPA, and the average is about 9.28 LPA Top recruiters are L&T and some PSU companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the college campus. Classrooms are quite good. AC does not work properly. The condition of lab is not that good. All the machine equipment is old. The hostel facilities are good. Water cooler is provided. The quality of food in the mess is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in nature. Every professor has Ph.D. degree and well knowledgeable in their respective field. Course curriculum is relevant about 4-5 hours of class run daily and 5 days a week. I will not say the student is well prepared for the industry level, as there is much needed training to prepare.
Other: The rank in my JEE is not that good. I am getting into a good college with civil branch so I decided to go there. There is a need for innovation and creative thinking to get some interest in the civil course. Campus life is good, enjoyable, and friendly nature. There is no ragging on campus.

First, you will have to give JEE main exam, and secure rank under 30000. If you rank under 20,000, you will get a good branch otherwise biotechnology only.
