NALSAR University of Law BA LLB (H) is an integrated course of five years. To complete the programme, candidates must accumulate 200 credits through mandatory and optional courses. NALSAR Hyderabad BA LLB (H) admission is done through CLAT. The selected candidates must also go through CLAT counselling for seat allotment.

Candidates seeking admission to law courses at NLUs need to apply for CLAT. There is no other provision for admission. Before proceeding with application formalities, it is advisable to check the eligibility criteria. NALSAR Hyderabad course admission is a multi-step procedure that involves CLAT registration, exam, result declaration, cutoff release, CLAT counselling, fee payment and admission confirmation. The step-wise admission criteria for BA LLB (Hons) is explained below:
Step 1: NALSAR BA LLB (H) Application Process 2024
The eligible candidates need to fill out the CLAT application form. Applications are accepted in online mode through the official website (https://clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in/). The application fee for General/OBC/PWD/PIO/OCI/NRI is INR 4,000 and for SC/ST/BPL category, the application fee is INR 3,500.
Step 2: Selection Process
Applicants then need to appear for the CLAT examination. It is a pen and paper-based test. The entrance test is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs).
Step 3: Cutoff, Counselling, & Admission Confirmation
Further, the results are announced and the cutoff mark is released. Candidates fulfilling the cutoff criteria can participate in CLAT Counselling. Through this counselling, seats are allotted to students in the respective NLUs as per their scores. After seat allotment, candidates can pay the course fee to confirm their seats. NALSAR BA LLB (H) tuition fee is INR 7.8 lakh. Additionally, the one-time fee is INR 20,000 and the hostel charges are up to INR 5.1 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. NALSAR Hyderabad BA LLB (H) Placements 2024
According to the media reports, 100% of placements were recorded for the 2024 batch. Out of 119 students, 86 appeared for the drive and were placed in domestic and international firms. A total of 36 PPOs were received and 50 students were placed through campus placements. The highest and average packages offered during NALSAR University of Law placements in 2024 were INR 59 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, AZB & Partners and many other leading companies participated.
As per the NIRF report 2024 released by NALSAR, the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 1-year placements 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 98 students were placed and 12 students opted for higher studies out of a total of 112 students during UG 5-year placements 2023. Other than this, 53 students were placed and 7 students opted for higher studies out of a total of 64 students during PG 1-year placements 2023.
Earlier, the NIRF report 2023 is out. As per the report, 96 BA LLB (Hons) and 48 LLM students were placed during 2022 placements. The median package offered to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM students during NALSAR University of Law placements 2022 was INR 16 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively.
The 2023 placement statistics are yet to be released. Earlier. 96 out of 118 BA LLB (Hons) students were placed during 2022 placements. For LLM, 48 out of 66 students were successfully placed. The median package for LLM and BA LLB 9Hons) courses has been stagnant over the past two years. The key highlights of NALSAR placements 2022 and 2021 are presented below:
