Facilities and placements are really good.
Placements: In our course, we have 120 students. I am in 1st year. In our IT branch this year, around 85 percent of students are placed. The highest package offered is 61 LPA to a girl, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Atlassian, Oracle, Amazon, Google. In our institute, internship is a must for every student in 3rd year, so all the students have to do it. The top role offered is software developer.
Infrastructure: We have all the facilities, and infra is also good. They are building more also. Wi-Fi speed is nice. Hostel provides us Wi-Fi with decent speed. NITJ Wi-Fi is working all the time. LAN connection is also consistent. We get 15GB of internet every day to spend. The library is really nice. Classroom is good, more than average. Hostels are average. Mess food is average also. We have a hospital inside campus, where we get free medicine. Gym is nice. We have all quality and facilities of sports inside hostel and outside also.
Faculty: Teachers are nice, helpful, and qualified. But 75 percent attendance is a must! The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not much difficult, if we study 1 week before exams, we get 8 CGPA easily. To pass the end-semester exam, we should score more than 15 marks out of 50, and in total 40/100 is minimum.
Other: Our college hosts many fests, some of them being Utkansh and Bharat Dhavani. Every year, we have inter-NIT events in our college. I recommend this course to everybody.

At last, this is one of the premium institutes in India.
Placements: So I am giving the placement statistics of B.Tech IT branch 2025, so basically 102 students are eligible for the placements, and 105 job offers are there, where 22 are double job offers. The number of students placed is 83, with 81.37 percent of placement. The average package is 15.07 LPA, with a median of 11 LPA.
Infrastructure: First-year students are provided with separate hostels, and we are provided with good facilities like good and hygienic food, good toilets, Wi-Fi facility with good speed, and rooms big enough, a separate washing machine room for washing clothes. The campus is large, and branch dedicated buildings are present here. Good dedication facilities, and canteen facilities are provided, there is also a gym for students interested in fitness.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced enough as they are aware of their own subjects, and they are dedicated to solving the doubts of the students and are always there for assistance. They are available in their respective cabins, and a student can take time for doubt solving. The semester curriculum is good enough, as it is purely based on the development of the students and helps to get them ready for working in the industry. Semester exams are good enough and have a balanced level, except for some of the core subjects, which are difficult, pass percentage is good enough.
Other: Basically there is a great motivation for me to go in the Tech industry and to become a software engineer, I have been doing coding since my class 10 and I like to do that, so these all conditions were fulfilled by IT branch that's why I got into it. One thing that can be improved is to remove those 1 to 2 subjects per semester that are not that useful in the future. Events and fests are overall engaging and entertaining, and I am personally always very much excited for them. I myself got a scholarship.

Best NIT to choose after the tier 1 NITs.
Placements: In the previous year, the placement was around 90%, and this year it's around 81%. The highest package was 52 LPA, the lowest 3.6, and the average was 15.07 LPA (This is on-campus placement). Off campus, the highest was 1.16 crores. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Amazon and many others like Trident, Flipkart.
Infrastructure: We have a dedicated building for each department with proper maintenance and high-speed Wi-Fi. The IT building consists of multiple labs and big conference halls, and the computers in the labs are in good working condition with proper management. Hostel rooms are average, washrooms are cleaned daily, cleanliness is maintained, and there is good garden maintenance. Mess food is good, canteen food is quite overpriced, medical facilities are excellent, sports facilities need to be improved, we don't have a proper football ground, no cricket ground at all. Indoor game facilities are good. We just have one gym, so sometimes it's frustrating.
Faculty: Some teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, while some seem not at all interested in teaching, but the majority of the faculty are doing great. The curriculum makes us ready to work as a team and work in different difficult conditions. I am a 1st year student, so I can't tell much, but I felt like the core subjects end semester examinations were quite hard.
Other: I chose this just to earn more. I won't lie, I hate studying. I just want freedom, and I think only money can give me that, so I'm chasing money. Fest are exciting, I love the campus crowd.

Good infrastructure and college life.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students got placed from my course last year, and around the same number for this year. Also, the highest package offered is 52 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft and Amazon. Only around 5-6 students were offered a paid internship in the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the department is very good. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, but some hostels are not as good as the MBH rooms, which are very good. The rest of the hostels, which are 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 rooms, are very tiny, making it a struggle to live there. Food quality, sports facilities, and medical facilities are very good.
Faculty: Faculty depends on branch to branch, like the IT branch faculty, which is not as good as some professors are good in teaching but won't give marks, and some are very strict. Curriculum is up to date for most of the subjects, and in academics, it is good as they work on reviews for a subject and make changes accordingly.

Review of National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
Placements: In my course, i.e., the B.Tech. in Information Technology, the percentage of students who get placed is 93%. The lowest package ranges from 14-15 LPA. The average package is 17 LPA. The highest package is 62 LPA. Top companies that visit the college for placements are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Nvidia, and Samsung.
Infrastructure: My college has 11 hostels for boys and 1 more mega hostel is under development. There are 8 hostels for boys and 3 Mega hostels. Names are BH - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7E and MBH -A, B and F. The infrastructure of the college is really nice but hostels are not that impressive. But all hostels have LAN and Wi-Fi which student can access with their mail ID. There are many restaurants and a canteen in the college. Mess food is average but BH 2 and 7 have really nice mess.
Faculty: All teachers are PhD holders. They have a lot of experience. Many teachers are great but there are a few who are short tempered and students must not make them angry or irritate them in any possible way. Overall, they are supportive and helpful towards students. The course curriculum is highly relevant to us. Exams are not as tough as JEE but since they are subjective it is a little hard.

Rest life is good here just like any other government college.
Placements: Average placements I would say this year due to the recession in the IT market, but better than any other private or semi-private college out there definitely. It provides a good and stable platform to reach out to top companies, and the rest lies on the capability of the student.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in comparison with other government colleges but of course less attractive than private colleges as they spend Lacs on infrastructure and marketing only. Hostels are average, like any other government, but livable and with good food, but you will definitely miss home-cooked food.
Faculty: There is no benefit to studying from the college teachers; just complete the attendance criteria and work on your skills, along with keeping a decent CGPA side by side. Just start studying 2-3 days before exams. Rest, work on your skills and focus on extracurricular activities.
Other: Try choosing a higher branch like CSE, IT or ECE. Don't go below it.

NIT Jalandhar Review by Abhishek Sapkal.
Placements: Our institute has a placement cell, and it does its best to help students acquire jobs, but for good job offers, there is too much competition, and so only the best can get the best. As per the latest report, NIT Jalandhar recorded a 73.79% placement rate for the Class of 2023 till March 7, 2023. Earlier in 2022, NIT Jalandhar recorded an 81.76% placement rate in the academic year 2021-2022. Going back to 2021 placements, NIT Jalandhar recorded a 63.44% placement rate.
Infrastructure: NIT Jalandhar has 10 boys' hostels and 3 girls' hostels. I have got BH-1 (Boys' Hostel 1) for the 1st year, and the facilities here are way better than I had imagined for any hostel. I never even dreamed that I could get such delicious food in any hostel mess. I never felt the need to go to the cafeteria to have lunch or breakfast. Some dishes are even better than those cooked at home, and I am not kidding when I write it. Though some seniors told us that it's only in the first year that we get food this good. We get three meals a day and snacks in the evening. The hostel also has a badminton court, a volleyball court, and an indoor games room where there are indoor games like chess, carrom, and table tennis. The best part of BH-1 hostel, which makes it the best among all the 13 hostels, is that we have a computer lab in our hostel apart from the reading room. There are about 10 to 12 computers, and all have i7 processor CPUs, which is fantastic.
Faculty: Teachers, as far as experience goes, are supportive and helpful, but very few of them give marks easily in exams. The rest try their best to give you a hard challenge to obtain good marks in exams. The exam papers made by them are on the bit tougher side.
Other: The campus has separate buildings for each branch of engineering, like the IT building, Computer Science department, and all. Apart from that, there are two libraries. One has thousands of books for issuing by students. It doesn't have AC but fans. The second library is a new one with three floors, all fully air-conditioned and has hundreds of computers. It is my favorite spot on the institute campus till date. It's a bit busy during exam times though.

Our college has good infrastructure, decent placements, and a lush green campus.
Placements: The average salary package offered in the B.Tech course is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered in the tech branches is 13 LPA. Around 95% of students were placed in top branches. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Oracle, Google, Paytm, and Atlassian. The highest salary package offered by Atlassian is 64 LPA.
Infrastructure: All types of basic facilities are available like air-conditioned classrooms, a lush green campus, internet facility, clean washrooms, good sports facilities, all types of sports grounds, courts, and sports equipment. There is a food joint like Dominos where students can chill with their friends.
Faculty: All| professors are well-qualified. They completed their Ph.D.s from prestigious institutes like IITs and other world-top colleges. All professors are very friendly and always available during working hours. There is one mid-semester and one end-semester exam, which are not very tough.
