However, they will have to submit an undertaking as per Annexure V. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they meet the preset eligibility criteria. Before the commencement of the programme, selected candidates must produce a provisional certificate of completion of the qualifying degree, on or before September 15.

NIT Sikkim considers GATE scores for admission to MTech. The GATE cutoff was between 359 and 526 for General AI category. MTech in CSE was the most competitive specialisation followed by Data Science & Engineering. The cutoff for CSE was 526 and 499 for DSE.
