NLU Kochi Admission 2025: Courses, Last Dates, Application, Eligibility and Fee

NUALS Kochi admission 2025 includes a three-step process, which starts with the application process, followed by shortlisting candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam and making final admission offers. Admission to the NUALS flagship law courses is done through CLAT. The detailed step-wise NUALS admission process is mentioned below:

Step 1: NUALS Registration Process 2025

Candidates willing to secure admission to the law courses offered at GNLU need to apply via CLAT on the link ( consortiumofnlus.ac.in/). The application fee for both UG and PG programmes is INR 4,000 (General) and INR 3,500 for SC/ ST candidates. Read more about the CLAT exam syllabus 2025

Step 2: NUALS Selection Rounds 2025

For PG diploma admission, Preference will be given to the candidates who have done Bachelor’s in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, hospital administration, or a Bachelor’s in law by NUALS for the PG Diploma in Medical Law & Ethics. Candidates who have done a Bachelor’s in law will be preferred for the PG Diploma in Cyber Law.

Step 3: NUALS Final Admission

The university makes final admission offers to the shortlisted candidates. Further, they need to pay the admission confirmation fee to secure their seat. The admission is INR 5,000. Know more about other NLUs in India along with their admission process

The total fee for NUALS includes tuition fees, library fees, Campus Development, Information System Facilities fees, and other caution deposits. Some of which are charged only once. However, some are to be paid semester-wise or annually, such as the tuition fees. The annual tuition fee for B.A. LLB is INR 1.10 lakh.

The number of seats varies depending on programme at NUALS. There are a very limited number of seats available for LLM, while NUALS's integrated LLB programme has more capacity to allot seats to eligible candidates. NUALS Kochi Seats Reservation 2025

The seat reservation at NUALS is applicable as per the Government rule. There are reservations available for Kerala Domicile students belonging to different categories such as SC, ST, and SEBC. 5 % of the total intake of the 60 seats are horizontally reserved for the Differently Abled Persons.
