NEHU admissions generally begin in May every year. Admission to most of the courses at the university is entrance exam/merit-based. Candidates, however, for all courses are required to meet minimum eligibility criteria to get shortlisted for any and every course offered by NEHU. NEHU Shillong offer four-year BTech courses, divided into eight semesters, and offered in full-time mode. The eligibility criteria is that the candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 75%. There are BTech lateral entry courses in some of the specialsiations as well. The entrance exam accepted by the university to get admission into BTech courses is they must have secured valid scores in JEE Mains. 

No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to MBA courses at  NEHU Shillong. To get admission to MBA courses applicants are required to qualify their graduation first in a relevant field with at least an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, candidates must have secured valid scores in any of the entrance exams including CUET-PG, MAT, CAT and CMAT. 

Yes, candidates can get admission to NEHU Shillong MBA courses without CUET-PG scores, because the university also considers the score of national entrance examinations, such as MAT, CAT, CMAT and ACPC Admission. Hence, if the candidate does not appear in CUET-PG they can get admission on the basis of these entrance exams' scores. 

Note: For the selection process it is necessary to appear in any of the entrance examinations, the university doesn't grant admission without an entrance examination score.

Yes, NEHU Shillong offers two scholarship schemes for its meritorious and economically backward students including the JRF scholarship scheme and financial assistance scheme.

NEHU Shillong offers courses at the UG and PG levels in full-time mode for durations varying from 2 years to 5 years. Admission to the respective courses is offered on the basis of merit and entrance. The University offers respective courses at the total tuition fees ranging from INR 1.68 K to INR 2.07 Lakh.

NEHU Shillong MBA fee includes various charges, such as tuition fees, admission fees, one-time charges, etc. The tuition fee range from INR 3,400 to INR 1.9 lakh. The hostel fee for MBA students is INR 11,900. The fee is from official sources and is subject to change.
