Not all course admissions at NEHU University Shillong are based on CUET. BTech admissions are based on JEE Main. For various courses like BCA, BA, BSc, and others, CUET is accepted by the NEHU University Shillong. CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is an all-India level entrance examination which is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. North-Eastern Hill University Meghalaya (NEHU) is ranked 106th by QS Ranking under the Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia category and 401-450 by QS Ranking 2024 under the Asian University Rankings. North Eastern Hill University was established in 1973 by an Act of Parliament. The university ranking is quite good. Hence, it is worth taking admission in this university in 2025.
