CPGET 2026 Pattern - Osmania University, prescribes test pattern of CPGET each year. According to CPGET 2026 pattern, the test is held online CBT for admissions to various postgraduate, postgraduate diploma and integrated programmes. CPGET pattern details important information about structure of exam: test duration, the section-wise weightage, marking scheme, etc. It is important that aspirants get familiar with CPGET pattern and have a clear understanding of it. CPGET 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of CPGET (OUCET) 2026 is as follows: 

  • The duration of the test for all subjects is 90 minutes. 
  • The question paper consists of 100 MCQs, each carrying one mark. 
  • The entrance test consists of 3 or 4 types of objective-type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study/ experiment/ theoretical point of view, etc. One question may have one or more correct answer options. The items will be framed only from the syllabus of the entrance test.
  • The pattern for admissions into M.Sc. Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Genetics and Microbiology, is such that candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG&M comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional subjects studied during B.Sc. - Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks. 
  • The CPGET exam pattern for admissions into M.Sc. Bio-Technology comprises of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 marks) and part-B (Bio-Technology for 60 Marks)
