Panjab University MBA Admission and Application Process 2026
Candidates are selected on the basis of their scores in CAT for MBA course during Panjab University admissions. UBS regional center Ludhiana also accept the scores of MAT. Candidates who have not appeared in CAT or MAT need to qualify a Special Entrance Test conducted by the department. The admission process is followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. Steps mentioned below show the entire process for Panjab University MBA course admissions:
STEP 1: Panjab University MBA Application Process
The first step of the Panjab University MBA admissions is to register for the aforementioned entrance exams. To do so, candidates need to visit the online portal of the chosen exam and follow the directions of the announcement circular. Then, candidates need to follow the steps below:
Step 1.1: Visit the official website of Panjab University (https://admissions.puchd.ac.in/).
Step 1.2: Register on the website.
Step 1.3: Fill out the application form.
Step 1.4: Attach all necessary documents.
Step 1.5: Pay the Panjab University MBA application fee of INR 2,000. The application fee is INR 1,000 for candidates of the SC/ST/PwD categories.

STEP 2: Selection Round
Panjab University MBA admissions at University Business School are entirely entrance-based. Candidates are selected based on CAT results. The university shortlists candidates based on their past academic performance and entrance exam scores. Selected candidates are required to appear for the GDPI process. After the application, course-wise merit lists are released on the official website of the university. After the merit list released for Panjab University courses, interested candidates can submit the Panjab University MBA fees and confirm their admission.
Candidates seeking admission to the PU Regional Centre, Ludhiana can also appear for MAT. However, candidates who wish to take admission to any of the MBA specialisation offered at University Institute of Applied Management Sciences must appear for the Management Entrance Test. The university accepts the scores of CET (PG) for MBAfEX course. Candidates must pay an additional fee of INR 2,850 (INR 1,425 for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in order to appear for the Management Entrance Test (MET).
