Nice university and facilities. I think hostels are best at university. Its a big university, etc.
Placements: Our department has UG, PG, and PhD. In UG, there are 3 years each with 22 people, and PG intake is 75. PhD scholars, etc. The package includes 25,000. I don't know the companies. 99 percent of students got internships in many companies. Various companies include various amounts, sociologists, social workers, and professors.
Infrastructure: Our department has 6 classrooms, different cabins for each professor and phd scholars. We have Wi-Fi in our department. We have one smart classroom, a library, and computer for each school. Our hostel has water cooler on each floor, 2 fans, and 2 wardrobes in each room. It has big rooms, etc
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and understand the difficulty of students and help them. They also help us to gain confidence and help out the students who are poor. The curriculum is relevant in the present society. The semester exams are not much tough nor easy. 40 percent is the pass percentage
Other: It is my favorite subject and my plus 2 main subject. Lack of giving work and classroom shortage. Our department does not conduct any events but gives scholarships and does not provide them for us.

Good campus, decent quality of teaching.
Placements: There aren't any specific placements, even though it opens doors to many fields such as Masters in various disciplines like Political Science, History, Sociology, Economics, and Law. And French is definitely an opportunity because you can work in Indo-French companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the classrooms is kind of okay, and the campus is really green and clean. It's really a good campus with good infrastructure. But for the mess food, even though it's kind of okay, we still have to adjust a little. It's even having good grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are well experienced, except in a few departments where Ph.D. scholars are used for teaching in place of professors. The Economics department is really good, with well-qualified professors and good teaching. Mostly, they are professional.

    Review of Pondicherry University.
Placements: There is no such placement offered on campus. Most of them are pursuing master's from different colleges or streams. Also, all of them expect from batches 1 and 2. Most of them try to get specialized courses after completing their B.A. in 3rd year through CUET PG.
Infrastructure: It's a multi-disciplinary course, but going to France is not easy. Day by day people are less concerned about it. Hostel as such is average, and there is no AC in room. Moreover, 3 people are staying in hostel instead of two students, but sometimes feel difficult to adjust.
Faculty: There is discrimination by some faculty members against Seal students. Another curriculum is fine. You will get to know different perspectives on each subject of the same topics. Most of the time there is a lack of proper faculty members so either guest or PhD scholars will teach you.
Other: I chose this course as I was from science background in my 12th, so I wanted to know my interest in social science and for UPSC. It is better but you have to always work harder than any other student as you get only one paper each semester.

Compared to other central universities PU have high fee.
Placements: The internship rate till last year was 0%, but this time, some placement drives are happening, not only for Political Science but for Social Science in general. The salary is around Rs. 25,000 to 30,000 per month. The syllabus is purely similar to DU. Department facilities are comparatively student-friendly.
Infrastructure: There is a new building for the department, but it have a lack of furniture, and the Wi-Fi speed is poor. The mess food is also comparatively bad. There is no lab for Political Science. The computer lab is not efficiently working and the reading room in the SJ campus is only working till 5:30 p.m.
Faculty: Few teachers are highly qualified and very good in academics. Recent years faculty student ratio is very less. Syllabus is similar to du. But due to introduction of NEP there is some issues regarding syllabus and course structure. The introduction of NEP case very stress on Students.
Other: Comparing to other integrated courses political Science have good syllabus and academics and annually in campus there will be programmes like hostel day and akansha, vanicom fests.

    Review about Pondicherry University.
Placements: Only 5 percent were placed in our course; the highest package is 2 LPA and the lowest is 1 LPA. No campus placement takes place in our department; we ourselves have to look for companies outside. Only 10 percent of students get internships. The top roles offered in our course are HR, human resource advisory, social workers, etc.
Infrastructure: We have good Wi-Fi facilities, smart classrooms, and better library facilities, which have a wide range of books and journals and provide a good platform for us to study and learn. The canteen facilities are good, and the university also organizes sports and competitions.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified and have good knowledge in the domain subject as well as in the current happening, and they are very friendly too. The course curriculum is very relevant for society. The semester exams are very easy, and the pass percentage is 95% in our department.
Other: I like sociology, so I chose it as a domain to study.

Good campus life and average administration.
Placements: Usually, placement is offered in the 10th semester or 2nd year M.A., but most people leave in the 3rd year with a B.A. degree, so there is no placement as of now. Most students take admission in management, economics, or other fields of interest, and many of our seniors went abroad for their master’s.
Infrastructure: There are decent classrooms with smartboards and projectors, and the hostels are comfortable and modern. Wi-Fi is available in both the departments and hostels, and there is a modern air-conditioned reading room. Additionally, there is a health center where you can get first aid and paracetamol.
Faculty: Teachers are interested in teaching and interact with students. The curriculum of our course is vast, giving you an overview of many fields like political science, history, economics, commerce, and law. Exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 90+%.
Other: There are many cultural festivals and departmental fests that happen at the university. Our course is very diverse and extensive, but there is a lack of staff, and better integration of departments is expected.

PU‑CET (UG) has different papers for different subjects. Applicants must choose subjects based on the course they want. Each subject is a separate MCQ paper with its own marks. Your overall score is the total of the papers you attempt.
