Poornima University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. Poornima University BTech is offered in eight specialisations through the Faculty of Computer Science Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The university also provides lateral entry admission to the BTech course. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply for any of the BTech specialisations.
Selection criteria: Merit-based
Eligibility: Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC) in Mathematics, Physics and, any one subject out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.
Eligibility for BTech Civil & Mechanical: Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Eligibility: Class 12 with a two-year diploma or Class 10 with a three-year Diploma in Engineering or BSc degree with Mathematics after Class 12, and students need to clear the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing/ and Engineering Mechanics of the first-year Engineering course, along with second-year subjects.
