Punjabi University is a state public university located in Patiala, Punjab. It was established in 1962 and is the second university in the world to be named after a language. Punjabi University has over 70 teaching and research departments under its umbrella. The disciplines offered are Arts, Humanities & Sciences. The university has more than 270 affiliated colleges, 9 campuses, 12 constituent colleges, and 6 regional colleges. With a campus sprawling across 600 acres, at present, Punjabi University offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, PG Diploma, UG Diploma, Certificate and Doctorate degree programmes.

To get admission into BSc courses offered at Punjabi University Patiala, candidates are required to qualify their Class 12 from Science stream with relevant subjects (according to the chosen specialisation selcted by candidates. For admission, candidates must have completed their higher senior secondary from CBSE, PSEB, ISC, UP Board,   Maharashtra HSC, MPBSE, Punjabi University Admission. Additionally, the university also accepts valid scores of CUET for admission. 

Punjabi University, Patiala, has kept up its spree of winning the highest A grade on a four-point scale amongst over 350 universities in the country. The status is awarded by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Punjabi University offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, PG Diploma, UG Diploma, Certificate and Doctorate degree programmes. Candidates can apply online for registration. Punjabi University offers courses in the fields of Pharmacy, Library sciences, Management, Commerce, Languages, Computer Application, Performing Arts, Law, Engineering, and Business Administration. The university also has the provision of Lateral entry for some courses.

According to my research and the data which is available on the college official websites I have found that this college has a decent ranking Punjabi University is ranked 64 in India in the general universities category while the university is ranked 23 in NIRF India Ranking among the pharmacy institutes for the year 2020. It has been awarded the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (MAKA) Trophy around 10 times. By seeing these I must say that this is decent collage 

Architecturally, the hostels are aesthetically laid out with plenty of open space and a lot of greenery. The rooms are comfortable, fitted with fan, lights and hard furniture. Each wing of the hostel has several verandahs and balconies. Comforts are important but they are not enough.
