Good placements and facilities.

Placements: About 70% of students of RTU Kotak got placed from computer science and engineering. The highest off-campus package is around 50 LPA this year and the minimum may be 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Wipro Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries, L&T, TCS, Infosys, etc. Almost all students got internships out of which around 50%-60% got paid internships. Top roles offered are software engineering, data design, and web technology.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and library are available in hostel. Hostel provides a good quality food and mess is regularly checked by mess committee. Medical facilities, canteen, sports and games are available on campus. Hostel is also good by safety perspective. CCTV cameras and security guards are available. Hostel warden and matron are always there to take care.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and experienced. Their teaching quality is good and they are very knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult in this college. Students should prepare accordingly to score good marks. Many students get back into many subjects, often in maths and physics. Minimum 40% are needed to get pass.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become a software engineer. There should be specializations in AI, cyber security, etc. There are mainly two fests in RTU Kotak -Thar (technical fest) and Anukriti (cultural fest) and many workshops and events are arranged by different clubs.

RTU reality reviews beneficiary for admissions.

Placements: Student placement ratio is not more as we say, 50% student placement as my course is CSE. Maybe this time more students were placed. As Google shows, the highest package of my college is around 40 Lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies since a few years are IBM, ICICI, JK Cement, Amazon, Swiggy, Zomato, Google, Adani Groups, Siemens, etc. Siemens is hiring students more and more for placement as well as internships. The ratio of selecting for internships is around 20-40% for Computer Science and Information Technology.

Infrastructure: As we say, can't say that very good facilities are provided by them in classrooms. Normal classrooms have no Wi-Fi connection, but the library is good. Many options of books are available, and no arguing about book issues. Good quality. Hostel life is super cool. I enjoy every single day in the hostel. Food quality is good, heavy, and tasty food. Supplements they provided. Hospital they don’t have; students manage at their level for medical facilities. In the sports field, very bad condition as I am a student in college. I beg to play on my campus due to casteism and groupism.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are supportive as they ordered. They never show any excitement about upcoming programs or fests, and never give motivation on upcoming things. They have to mean with syllabus completion. The course curriculum is relevant to growing society. 2 midterms have been held already. They don’t seem to be as difficult as I listened, and the end is about to come. More than 5 CGPA is good for passing marks.

Other: I filled up for the REAP counselling and I got RTU. I again went for upward movement and got RTU. CSE is now a demanding field, and that’s why I chose it. I wish that I had a great campus life experience, but not it as held. Some seniors are active in extracurricular activities, they manage their programs. Stone active group also pays attention to it. I joined the literature club to improve my communication skills.

If you want to take admission, you yourself should be capable of taking your placement.

Placements: Only a few percentage of candidates get on-campus placement. I think for this year 2024 on-campus placement data, the highest is 12 Lacs and the lowest is 2 Lacs. Off-campus placement, the highest is 55 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are TCS, JSW Steel, Aditya Birla Sun Life, etc.

Infrastructure: Department contains Wi-Fi, but hostels are Wi-Fi-less. Infrastructure is well and good. Labs are maintained properly, but some PCs don't work properly. The library is also well-maintained, having Wi-Fi facilities. The quality of food provided in the hostel is average. The canteen is also average type. A gym and different sports courts are available, like badminton, volleyball, tennis, football, etc.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but some don't behave properly. According to me, the course curriculum is not relevant as it still focuses on old teaching. Semester exams aren't that difficult to pass. Most of the students get passes.

Other: According to my interest, I chose this course. I think better labs and teachers should be provided for the betterment of this course. Also, peer-to-peer environment should be brought to focus to help the college grow more and more. Many events take place and other activities take place from time to time. Campus crowd is average.

I think I chose the best college in Rajasthan.

Placements: About 70% students has been placed every year in reputed companies from campus placement. The highest package offered in the college is 44 LPA by Amazon and the average package of the college is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Miniorange, Infosys, Cognizant, L&T, Wipro.

Infrastructure: The labs of the college are fully air-conditioned and the college provides Wi-Fi at the labs. The classrooms are also quite good. The best thing about the college is its campus. The campus of the college is very huge. There are 5 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels on the campus.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is well-educated from the top institutes of India and abroad. All teachers have a very helpful nature, but sometimes they react very rudely. However, their knowledge is very good. The exams of the semester are very difficult.

RTU which have average placements but have good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement in our college is much average as normal-level companies only come for the placement grounds which offer an average package of about 4-6 LPA, which is not so good for the students. But on campus, some students make it to about an 8 LPA average package and the highest package is about 45 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided in our college are average as they are not much good. There is no Wi-Fi in the campus area; it is only available in the library and Computer Science department. But the classrooms and labs are good enough in our college and the library is also present, open only in the daytime. The hostel facilities provided are also good as it is much affordable for the students. But the college mess is not so good here, sometimes it is good or sometimes it is bad. There are 3-4 canteens or cafeterias on the college campus.

Faculty: In Rajasthan Technical University, the teaching faculty members are average as some teachers are much good and some are not so good. All department teachers are good in the first year, but the Computer Science department teachers are much lazy, I mean not so good; mostly teachers are guest faculty members. The semester exams are not so difficult and mostly students pass in their exams. The passing percentage always may vary.

Other: I chose my course because of my personal interest in Computer Science and coding, but it's true because of the college I'm improving my knowledge in my field because of the proper examinations, etc. The crowd of the college is much active as students are much active in the college clubs like music, dancing, art, robotics, coding, etc. There are also two fests in our college, one is a technical fest named "Thar" and the other is a cultural fest named "Anukeriti."
