Sharda University BTech is offered in eight specialisations and sub specialisations as well. It is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. The available course specialisations include Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Food Process Technology, etc. This UG course is offered through the School of Engineering & Technology.
Sharda University BTech admission is entrance exam-based. Interested students either need to qualify for SUAT/ JEE Main with a valid score. Those who apply through SUAT must appear for the Personal Interview (PI) round for admission to Sharda University BTech.

To get admission to BTech at Sharda University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, which is to pass Class 10 with 60% aggregate & Class 12 with a minimum of 60% to 70% aggregate (60% aggregate in PCM Computer Science/PCB for Biotechnology (without any gap between Class 10 & Class 12 and 50% aggregate in Maths). Sharda University BTech admission is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for either SUAT or JEE Main (All India rank of up to 3 lakh) entrance exams with a valid score. The final selection is done based on the score of the respective entrance exam and the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview (PI) round. Those who apply via SUAT scores are required to appear for a PI round conducted at the School of Engineering Technology. Candidates who applied via JEE Main score are exmepted from both SUAT and PI round. Sharda University offers scholarships to BTech students based on their merit in Class 12 and JEE exams. The percentage of scholarships depends on the marks of the students. A waiver of 50% is offered to students with 90.00 - 94.99 % marks (PCM/ PCB) in SSE or equivalent examination and JEE Rank between 25,001 and 40,000.
The total tuition fee for BTech ranges between INR 7.8 Lacs and INR 11.4 lakh. After a 50% waiver, the students have to pay INR 3.90 Lacs INR 5.70 Lacs depending on the BTech specialisation opted by them.

1: Sharda University BTech Application Process 2026
The students who have meet the basic eligibility criteria can apply for Sharda University admission by submitting a duly filled application form along with several supporting documents. The application fee for male applicants is INR 1,500, and INR 1,000 for female candidates. To apply for BTech, follow the step-wise Sharda University application process explained below:

Sharda University offers financial help to its students through scholarship programs. The scholarship is provided to students with exceptional academic, social, cultural, or personal achievements and offers financial assistance to the weaker section of society of students. SUAT is a national-level entrance test for admission offered by Sharda University. The University has offered more than 7220 scholarships to its students. The scholarship amount goes up to round 41 Cr. The University has been providing 100% fee waiver for the eligible students.
Recently, Sharda University has released the SUAT phase 1 scholarship. Candidates must qualify the SUAT online test. The last date to apply for the SUAT Test is Feb end.
