There is a good experience in all ways.

Placements: I belong to the 2027 passing-out batch of the Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from SRMU University. Our batch had a strong academic and placement record, reflecting the university's commitment to industry-aligned education. Approximately 85% of students from our course were placed through campus placements. The highest package offered was 32 LPA, secured by a student placed at a multinational tech firm. The lowest package stood at around 3.5 LPA, while the average package across the batch was 7.2 LPA. Infrastructure: The college has good facilities. Projectors in all classes. Our course had modern labs, Wi-Fi, smart labs, classrooms, and a digital library. Hostel rooms were decent with basic amenities. Mess food was average but hygienic. Good medical support, sports facilities, and a gym ensure a balanced campus life.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. Teaching quality was good with a practical focus. The curriculum was industry-relevant, covering the latest tech. Semester exams were moderate in difficulty, with a pass percentage of around 85-90%.

Other: The campus is bigger. I chose CSE (Batch 2023) due to my interest in tech and coding. The best part was hands-on learning and supportive faculty. We need more industry tie-ups and live projects. Campus life was vibrant with fests, active clubs, a good crowd, and decent connectivity.

Decent university but not so much.

Placements: 90% approximately of B.Tech students secured job offers during the most recent placement drives. The highest package is around 16 LPA. The lowest package is around 4 LPA and on average the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, IBM, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are okay, but not too good. There are two hostels one for boys, which name is Tagore boys hostel and for girl Gargi girl hostel. Each hostel has six floors and 12 wings with 216 rooms total. All services are provided like mass, etc. Wi-Fi facilities are also available. There are guards always-on security.

Faculty: There are two ideas and one mid-term exam. First it happened after starting of semester after one month and after that, one and a half months later mid-term will happen and third it is innovative. There will be a quiz and class presentation. The marks will be calculated and above 90% attendance, give two marks for each student.

Other: Campus life is not so good. It feels like we are in school, not in university.

SRMU 2025 with new future.

Placements: Mostly students opt for CS course for their future. Last time the average package was 3 LPA. Many companies have come like Amazon, TCS, etc. Many students got internships. But the reality they got by their own hard work. Their mechanical department is best.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good enough. Infrastructure is good but currently work in progress is going on. Campus is full of Wi-Fi. Labs are good and new system has been installed. Classrooms are good. Library is also good but books are not available mostly. Hostel is also good but the mess food is the worst.

Faculty: Teachers are good. They motivate and guide students what to do in their life and highlight their mistakes so that they can improve. Exams are always held on time without any delay and papers never leak. Course is not so perfect but they make students industry-ready. Exams are not syllabus-based, not so hard.

Other: I chose this course because the future is going to be based on computers. Fests are normally held and every month events are also held. Scholarships are also provided to students.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University: The best private university in Lucknow.

Placements: Nice placement, and the highest package was 30 LPA. This year (2024), the highest package was 14 LPA. But the average package is around 3-4 LPA, so you have to study hard for a good placement. Multiple multinational companies visit our university for placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are good and high-tech labs available for us, but the hostel building is not so developed and doesn't provide lifts in the hostel. For sports, a basketball court, cricket ground, and tennis court are also available. Overall, the infrastructure is above average.

Faculty: Faculty is good, supportive, and kind-spoken. Curriculum activities are also good. A lot of sports and activities like dance and singing are also available. Exams in our course are not so hard, but you have to be sincere and attentive in class. Overall, it's not very tough to pass.

Placements: Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University has 98% placement, and many companies come for placement such as Amazon, Royal Enfield, Accenture, IBM, TCS, Wipro, and many more. Companies offer an average package of 5 Lakh per annum, and the highest package was 26 Lakh per annum.

Infrastructure: Hostels are much good and offer a gym and Wi-Fi. Hostels are of 5 floors, and there are no lifts in the hostel; this was the biggest disadvantage of SRMU hostel. They offer many events and co-curricular activities and are good at functions and celebrate festivals.

Faculty: Yes, faculty are good and certified, and they are very much experienced. Faculty was decent and didn't put much pressure on students, except for mechanical engineering teachers; they are strict but skilled and very talented. SRMU offers a great variety of teaching.
