Sikkim Manipal University conducts separate entrance tests, and Personal Interview (PI) rounds to evaluate the candidates. Candidates willing to apply for the BTech, MTech, and MCA must first apply for the University entrance test known as SMIT (Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology). However, candidates with a valid JEE Main and GATE score can apply at the University's official website. For those who have qualified SMIT, JEE Main or MET, counselling will be conducted separately for seat allotment. The candidates will also have to select their preferred course.
