Satisfied but requires improvement in some fields.

Placements: As I did my graduation B.Sc. in medical biotechnology, there were no such placements. In fact, we were referred to several companies for interviews. Students holding an M.Sc. degree were referred mainly. However, some of our seniors have cracked the interviews. SMIMS didn't have a placement cell as such. But, the institute is more or less referred students for internships and jobs.

Infrastructure: SMIMS has a great infrastructure with facilities like Wi-Fi, various labs, many classrooms, library, medical facilities for students and faculty, grounds for various sports and games. The quality of food used to be great at the beginning of every session, but with time till the end, it would worsen. The hostel rooms were good and spacious for 3 students per room, provided with enough facilities.

Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Practical knowledge was also provided along with theoretical. The student-faculty ratio was 15:1, for my course (medical biotechnology) and for other courses like MBBS physiotherapy and nursing, it's 100:1. As it is a medical college, there's no industry exposure. There were certain pros and cons in the course curriculum.

Other: There were 2 annual fests (cultural and sports), and some extracurricular activities and academic events are also conducted.
