SOA University Course Admissions 2026: Application Process, Eligibility, & Fee

Yes, you can get admission to BTech at SOA University without JEE Mains. The university accepts admission based on  SOA's entrance exam i.e. SAAT. For admission to the BTech course, candidates must have BTech eligibility criteria and valid scores in the entrance exam. Candidates must also qualify for SOA University BTech eligibility criteria Class 12 with 50% aggregate from a recognised board.

Yes, it is hard to get admission at SOA University. The university offers UG, PG, and PhD courses across various streams such as  Agriculture, Law, Medical, Management, Engineering and others. SOA University admission for UG and PG programs is based on SOA's entrance exam i.e. SAAT. Apart from that, national-level entrance exams such as NEET, JEE Main,  CAT, XAT,  GATE, etc. are also accepted for the admission process. 

From the past three years, the CAT cutoff remained consistent for SOA University for open category. Yes, SOA University does offer a BPharm course for the duration of four years, divided into eight semesters, and offered in full-time mode. To get admission into the BPharm course at SOA University, candidates must complete their Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics/ Biology as additional subjects. Moreover, candidates must have studied English as a subject in their higher senior secondary.

SOA University offers lateral entry for BTech, BPharm and BHMCT programs. It is beneficial for the students to get direct admission to these courses through lateral entry. The university also provides scholarships to the lateral entry students. The eligibility criteria for the lateral programme are discussed below:

·       BTech: Students need to pass a minimum three/ two years Diploma examination with 60% marks for the general category and 50%marks for the SC/ ST/ OBC category from the State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Odisha or equivalent.

·       BHMCT: Students need to pass the Diploma examination in any discipline with 45% marks for the general category and 40% for the SC/ ST/ OBC category.

·       BPharm: Students need to pass the DPharm course from the institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

The SOA University NEET UG Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the MBBS course for all rounds and various categories under the All India quota. The overall cutoff for the General AI category students ranged from 233205 to 298163, according to the first and last round cutoff ranks.
