Candidates willing to take admission to SRM can apply online on the official website of the deemed University on payment of a common application fee of INR 1,200. The application process is common for all the courses. A step-by-step process of SRM University (deemed-to-be) application is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SRM IST and click on ‘Apply Now' on top or on the respective course application link in the right corner.
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now' in the new window in front of the desired course.
Step 3: Register as a new user by adding all the relevant details in the registration form.
Step 4: Using the login credentials created in the last step, login, fill in the complete application form, pay the application fee and submit the form.

As per the latest statistics, 9740 job offers were rolled to the 2025 batch students. Earlier, the number of offers made during SRMIST placements 2024 was over 6291. The number of high paing offers in 2025 was 4227 and in 2024 it was above 3295.
