SRM Institute of Science and Technology LL.M. Highlights 2023
At the postgraduate level, the institute extends its one-year LLM programme to the students across two specialisations. The course is spread across one year consisting of two semesters. Admission to this course is done according to the norms set by the Bar Council of India (BCS) and is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in their last qualifying exam. i.e. their UG degree.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance tests. The admission for the flagship programs are held on the basis of SRMJEEE UG exam. Further, SRM MBA admissions are conducted on the basis of SRMJEEM test. The SRMJEEE PG test is conducted for the various SRMIST PG courses. The university also accepts scoring from nationally-held tests like CAT, TANCET, MAT, etc. for admissions.
SRM University conducts SRM JEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams. Also, direct admission is not valid either. Candidates are shortlisted for BTech and M.Tech based on their past academic records and scores obtained in the entrance exam.
To sit for the respective exams, candidates must apply for the exams priorly and make a preparation strategy to ace the exam.

The university fee structure is cumulative of several components, such as caution deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. A few of these components are one-time payable, while some have are charged annually/semesterly. SRM IST Chennai MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.9 Lacs and INR 11.5 lakh. Moreover, the one-time fee range between INR 1,200 and INR 11,000 and the hostel charges range between INR 1.45 Lacs and INR 3.3 lakh.

SRMIST offers scholarships to help meritorious students with their academic goals. Further, the university has collaboration with a number of banking & funding organisations to enable students and parents to access scholarship and education loan services. MBA Scholarship for aspirants with UG degrees is 85% and will be given a concession of INR 50,000 in second-year tuition fees. The concession is subject to MBA first-year CGPA of above 8 and no standing arrears and commendable in participative learning. It must be noted that the information mentioned above is as per past years' data.
SRM IST fee refund policy is based on UGC guidelines. Candidates get full refund at any time between the academic year of admission. Candidates are required to submit an application form signed by them t and their parent in person or online for refund. Candidates get refund to their bank provided in the refund request form. The refund will be processed by RTGS or NEFT.

Students willing to take admission to SRM can apply online on the official website of the deemed University on payment of a common application fee of INR 1,200. The application process is common for all the courses. A step-by-step process of SRM University (deemed-to-be) application is as follows:
- Visit the official page of SRM IST and click on ‘Apply Now' on top or on the respective course application link in the right corner.
- Click on ‘Apply Now' in the new window in front of the desired course.
- Register as a new user by adding all the relevant details in the registration form.
- Using the login credentials created in the last step, login, fill in the complete application form, pay the application fee and submit the form.

Candidates looking for course admissions must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. For UG courses, candidates must complete Class 12 and for PG courses, students must complete graduation.
