Pune University offers admission to M.Tech through various affiliated colleges. Of all the colleges Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Architecture, Akurdi can be considered as the most popular. Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Architecture, Akurdi MArch course candidates need to have valid MHTCET MTech scores. As per the UniPune cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Architecture, Akurdi stood at 83.73 for the M.Arch. in Construction Management course for the General category All India candidates. 

UniPune admission to a majority of PG and UG courses is based on the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. The university offers MCA, MMM, Advanced Diploma, MPH, E-MBA, LLM and M.Lib.I.Sc, among others. Admission to a few courses is completely based on merit in the previous qualifying exam. ISC among others, where the admission process is completely based on merit in the previous qualifying exam (Class 12 for UG admission and UG degree for PG admission). Thus, students will not be able to get direct admissions to Pune University.

Savitribai Phule Pune University  (also known as UNIPUNE, Pune University and SPPU), is a collegiate public state university. The University is located at Pune, was established in 1949 through Poona University Act and is one of the premier universities in India. Recognised by UGC, it is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'. The University is accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC. With over 40+ academic departments,  10+ faculties and 50+ research centres, the university also has about 300+ recognised research institutes and over 700 affiliated colleges offering UG, PG, diploma, PG diploma, PhD and certificate courses.

Savitribai Phule Pune University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) along with AIU. Interestingly, SPPU is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'. The University has been graded 'A' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Savitribai Phule Pune University (also known as UNIPUNE, Pune University and SPPU), located at Pune, was established in 1949 through Poona University ACT. Therefore, it can be concluded that SPPU is one of the premier universities of India.

UniPune is not very difficult to get admission. Students should qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. Pune University offers admission basis merit and entrance wherein students must secure minimum marks in Class 12 or graduation, depending on the level of course opted. Students should also have valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as ATMA, OEE, GATE, UGC NET or SLET.
