It is a good college.

Placements: This year only in 2022 Dec, Ongc has taken students. But only 2 students and ongc has now become strict regarding its recruitment This is the only information I have regarding this. Rest will be informed soon. No other companies has arrived yet in this college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is amazing. Hostels in which I live has amazing spacious room with all facilities and cleanliness. Some hostels do not give good food but some give tasty one. Safe place for women. There is library in every hostel as well. There is Tagore library.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They are helpful. Semester papers are moderate and at the end its all about your preparation and hard work. Nowdays this course has many scope as compared to other. As I have heard teachers do very strict marking so be prepared.

Other: There are scholarship that you can apply. Campus is vivid and beautiful. There are many inter hostel competitions and competition at university level. There are no Fest. Easily available transportation.

It is the best place to study, and the hostel is good for students to live.

Placements: Students from various disciplines were subjected to placements at Lucknow University which provides big opportunities to study. The salary package was very good, and ONGC selected students from applied geology.

Infrastructure: In this college, hostels were clean, and all students were allowed to stay. Wi-Fi was also available in the hostel. It also provides a library in the hostel, and a gym was available. It provides a park to play games in the hostel.

Faculty: The teaching quality was good if students study themselves. The knowledge of every teacher was excellent. Semester exams were conducted in this university every 6 months, and before this semester the class test was also conducted by teachers and it helps students for quality education.

Other: The best thing about Geology was that it was important, easy to understand, and lovable subject.

Review of the geology department.

Placements: 85% is the highest, an average of 70%, and the average salary package goes to 6 LPA by ONGC and GSI. There is one central placement cell of Lucknow university from which students are hired by top recruited companies. The main endeavor of CPC, University of Lucknow is to get students placed in reputed multinationals, government NGOs, and the private sectors, and all registered students CPC will be given placement assistance, counseling for employment, and even self-employment.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good for the geology department than other departments, and there is 2 department of geology that also have applied geology, which runs in the ONGC building. The lab is good, and all types of chemicals are provided for students. One departmental library from where students access all books.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and some teachers are not so good, but it is fine. Semester exams are not difficult not so easy, it is average. There are 4- semesters and 2-examinations per semester, one is mid-sem, the other is main-semester, and the mid-sem is 30 marks per paper, the semester is 70 marks per paper, and the other is for practical.

Our university is good, and you can learn many things here.

Placements: In my class, there are a total of 35 students. ONGC, Coal India, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. I think every student got an internship from our course in ONGC, Dehradun, PRL etc. We have to learn so much on the field via field work to gain practical knowledge.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the classrooms is good. There are two classrooms for M.Sc. students, and one of them is a digital class (smart board). There is free Wi-Fi and AC. The museum is very good in our department. The library is open from 10 am to 5 pm. Medical facilities are available. The quality of food is average. In the hostel, we enjoy so much.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They clear our doubts. Some teachers are the gems of our department. There are a total of 35 seats available in M.Sc. geology. Semester exams are moderate. There are a total of 4 semesters in M.Sc. In every semester, there is a mid-term paper and assignment of 30 marks, and semester exams are of 70 marks. 33 marks are the pass marks.

Other: I chose it because I am interested in geology, and we can easily understand and protect nature. We can easily contribute to saving our nature and also for knowing how the earth was formed and other factors about our earth.

It is a prestigious university with a good infrastructure.

Placements: The number of students getting placed in the geology course is very low, but many students get admission to various IITs and NITs. ONGC is the top recruiting company. Other petroleum-related companies like Coal India and Gail India also visit our college for placements. There is one central placement cell at Lucknow University from which students are hired by top-recruiting companies. All CPC-registered students will receive placement assistance, career counseling, and even self-employment opportunities.

Infrastructure: The geology department at Lucknow University is the best department. The infrastructure in the geology department is better than in other departments. The department is spacious. The lab is good, and all types of chemicals, minerals, microscopes, and field samples are provided for students. There is one departmental library, and students have access to all books.

Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified. Some of the teachers are not so good, but it's fine. The semester exams are neither difficult nor easy; they are average. There are four semesters and two examinations per semester; one is mid-sem and the other is the main semester. The mid-sem exam is 30 marks per paper, and the main semester is 70 marks per paper.
