Students must note that the admission process for BMS and MBA courses at Mumbai University varies depending on the college and the specialisation. For BMS, applicants are required to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with an aggregate of 45% or more. The admission is based on either merit or entrance exam scores, which depends on the college and the course they are applying for. As for MBA, applicants should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The admission is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam, which can either be CAT CMAT XAT or MAH CET depending on the college and the course. On the other hand, for the integrated BMS-MBA course, candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with an aggregate of 50% or more. The admission is based on the Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test MUCMET scores. The entrance exam required for Master of Business Administration at Garware Institute of Career Education and Development, University of Mumbai is MAH Master of Business Administration CET / MMS CET (Master degree in Sports Management). Shortlisted candidates will have to go through Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds which are also conducted by the Garware Institute of Career Education and Development. Candidates securing higher percentile of marks will be given preference.
