Decent Placement and supportive faculty.
Placements: I am an MCA student from the 2024 batch. In my course, around 30 to 40 percent of students got placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is about 6 LPA, the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies were Infosys, Asian Paints, Capgemini, TCS, and few were startups. All company offers the Internships and Final placement. The top roles offered are software development and technical support roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the MCA department is below Average. Classrooms are clean and have projectors for teaching. Some of computers labs are well maintained and in some labs the computers do not work even though they hang a lot, so it creates a problem at the time of the practical. Wi-fi is available in the department and library. The library has useful books for MCA subjects, journals, and online learning resources. I do not know about hostels, but those who live in hostels have told me that the rooms are good but they are very costly. Sports facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but some of them do not know about the topic, they just come and read the PPT, and thats it, like they do not put any effort. Some of the teachers are very good and supportive and their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and includes programming, databases and project work in every semester, which helps students to gain basic industry knowledge. The semester exam is at a moderate to difficult level. The pass percentage is around 85 to 90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in computers and software development. The course is not the value for money as the fees are very high compared to the knowledge, lab facilities and placement support provided. They should provide the more industry exposure and advanced training to improve the course quality. The campus crowd is decent and friendly, in my batch, the classmates are supportive. The college conducts technical events, seminars, cultural programs, and fest and sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged. The other information I want to give is that the campus is well connected by public transport.

The most common positions offered are software developer, full-stack developer, QA engineer, system analyst, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The MCA department generally offers well-equipped infrastructure, including smart classrooms with projectors, high-speed campus Wi-Fi, and modern computer labs with the latest software and systems for coding, development, and research. The teaching quality is usually good, combining theoretical concepts with practical applications through lab sessions and project work. Semester exams are moderately difficult, testing both conceptual understanding and practical application, and the overall pass percentage is typically high, around 85%-95% of students who attend regularly and prepare consistently find it manageable.
Other: I chose the MCA course because of my strong interest in software development and problem-solving, and it offers a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of computer applications. The best things about the course include exposure to programming languages, real-world projects, internships, and industry-relevant subjects like AI, DBMS, and web technologies, which prepare students for careers in IT and software development.

Relevant course with good infrastructure and events, but needs more practical exposure.
Placements: In our passing-out batch, around 20% of students from our course got placed. The highest package offered was 4.5 LPA, while the lowest was a Rs. 5,000 per month stipend. The average package varied depending on roles and companies, with Homeville being one of the top recruiters. About 10% of students secured internships in reputed companies. The major roles offered include Software developer (SD), software development engineer (SDE), tester, frontend developer, and backend developer. These roles help students gain valuable industry exposure and a solid career start in the tech field.

Classrooms are spacious and conducive to learning. Our campus also has a good canteen that provides a variety of food options at affordable prices. Sports and games facilities are available as well, which help students maintain a healthy balance between academics and physical fitness. The hostel infrastructure is decent, with basic amenities provided for comfortable living. Overall, the environment is student-friendly and supports both learning and personal development.
Faculty: Teachers in our course were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They were supportive and often guided students beyond the classroom as well. The course curriculum is relevant and aligned with current industry standards, which helps in making students industry-ready by the time they graduate. However, the semester exams are moderately difficult and require consistent study and understanding of concepts to clear. The pass percentage in exams is around 40%, which indicates a certain level of academic rigor in the course.
Other: I chose MCA course because it is in demand and matches the current IT industry boom. The course is relevant and helps in making students industry-ready. Events and industrial visits are conducted, which add to the learning experience. The campus has a good crowd and offers decent connectivity and surroundings. Extracurricular activities and scholarships are also available. The overall experience is positive, but more focus on practical training and industry projects would make it even better. The environment is supportive, and regular events keep the campus lively and engaging.
