Rabindranath Tagore founded Viva Bharati University, which is a central research university and an Institute of National Importance in West Bengal, India. It embodies the Tagorean idea of the development of the full person. The University is granted the designation of a unitary, residential, and academic institution. Viva Bharati University is approved by UGC and is accredited by NAAC with a B grade. Viva Bharati University has been ranked 98 among the top 100 universities in India by NIRF 2022. The courses offered by the Institute are B.A. M.A. BFA B. Des B.Sc. MSW and many more. The mode of admission to the Institute is CUET or other entrance exams.
