Q:   Can I get direct admission in VTU BTech?
A: 

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) admissions 2024 are entrance based. Candidates who wish to take admission to VTU BTech proramme must appear for the entrance examination. The College does not offer direct admission to candidates in any of the programmes. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BTech programme must appear for either KCET or COMEDK and qualify the eligiblity criteria.

Q:   What is KCET application form correction date?
A: 

Karnataka Examination Authority will commence the KCET application form facility after the conclusion of the exam at the official website. Applicants can make changes in the KCET application form in online mode. Candidates are allowed to make changes in certain fields only. Applicants are advised to cross-check all the details before submitting information. KEA do not entertain any request for change in KCET application form after the conclusion of correction facility.  

Q:   What is the last date to fill the COMEDK application form?
A: 

Application forms will be released shortly during the month of March. ( Tentative) 

The expected last date to register for Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) UGET Examination will be during the month of April . ( Tentative). 

The registration process will be accepted through online mode only. Candidates can visit the official website to know more about the examination in detail.

Q:   Can I get admission to Vesveswaraiah Technological University with 60% in Class 12th?
A: 

Yes, you can easily get admission into Vesveswaraiah Technological University with 60% in class 12th. The eligibility criteria for admission into Vesveswaraiah Technological University for Bachelor courses are that the students must have passed 10+2 with 45 % marks in aggregrate with compulsory subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The admissions are based on the scores of JEE Mains or KCET for B.Tech program. For B.Arch or B.Plan the students must have secured qualified scores in NATA exam.

NMIT Bengaluru is a decent college.
Placements: Around 85% of students get placed in Computer Science. A few offers are revoked by Oracle. Unfortunately, they are still looking for jobs. The highest domestic package is 22.5 LPA (PhonePe). This company visits our campus. The lowest is Infosys (3.5 LPA), and the average is around 7-8 LPA, I believe. All the companies except the mass-recruiting companies offer internships. Companies like PhonePe (22.5 LPA), OpenText (15 LPA), Nutanix (19 LPA), and Epicor (14 LPA) visit our campus. Roles like SDE, SDET, and Data Engineer are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. It is not a lush green campus. As expected from any college, we have great classrooms and labs. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, so there is no worry. Hostel quality is above-par. Mess food is average, though. There is too much focus on academics rather than extracurriculars.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and somewhat helpful. Teaching quality is above-average. The college is now a university, so one might expect the curriculum to change year by year. So maybe in the future, it can make the students ready. Semester exams are really easy. The pass percentage is around 97%, honestly. Even students who prepare at the last minute get around 8.5 GPA and above.
Other: I chose CSE because I want to get into top product-based companies and, well, money. I wish the attendance policy were a little lenient. Also, the course curriculum needs to be revised. There are events, but not that many. Events like Anaadyanta happen yearly. The campus crowd is decent.

Good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The college offers good placements with a 95 percent placement rate. Computer Science has a wide range of placements, and companies like Amazon and Wipro visit our college. Many seniors recommend this college to me, and I will also recommend it if anyone wants to join.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure. The Wi-Fi is cleanly provided, and everything is maintained cleanly, so the college infrastructure is very good. Everything is maintained very well, and the infrastructure is good. Maintenance is also good and washrooms are also well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers help you whenever you need help from them, and there are mentors whom you can ask anything without any fear, and they will explain it to you. As our college is a VTU-affiliated college, exams are not so easy, but being consistent helps in clearing all exams.
Other: I chose this course because now computer Science has more hype than any other.

Good college campus, infrastructure, and supportive faculty.
Placements: About 50- 60 percent of students got placed on campus. The highest package is about 42 LPA. The average package is about 7 LPA-8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA-4 LPA. About 50 percent of students got internships from college. Roles offered are software engineer, software developer, automation engineer, software tester, and software analyst.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well-equipped. Wi-Fi connection is always there. There are well-equipped computers available. The college infrastructure is nice, with green surroundings, a food court, and a canteen also there. There is a clean environment, it's a totally nice college.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, qualified, and Ph.D. holders. They support students at every stage. Quality of teaching is very nice. Computer Science and Engineering courses are relevant, and the curriculum and skills meet industry requirements. The difficulty level of the examination is average, but questions are application-based.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering. It is a course that helps us grow in the tech world and AI world it is very helpful in artificial intelligence to build software, websites, and more applications. Scholarships are also provided by the college management for students who perform well in academics and other events. Regular hackathons are going on.

I'm satisfied with the education culture in this college.
Placements: When it comes to placements, many of the colleges across Karnataka are not getting placed properly in the current situation or scenario. If I have to tell about my college, placements are a bit down these days due to AI (this is my perspective, which I have seen).
Infrastructure: When it comes to the infrastructure of our college, it is pretty decent. The equipment that is used and the facilities which we get in our labs, classrooms, seminar halls, etc., are all satisfactory. I'm not sure about the hostel facilities since I'm residing in my own house. The girls' hostel is next to the college itself, whereas the boys' hostel is about 3 km away from the college, for which the college bus facilities are available.
Faculty: When it comes to the faculty of our college, I don't have proper knowledge about how other departments (except ECE) faculty members are, but our department faculty members are very good since they explain the concepts well, which are understandable. When it comes to examinations, papers are set by our college faculty members themselves since our college is autonomous and affiliated with VTU. A total of 3 internals and 1 external are conducted, and the average of 3 internals will be considered.

Best college in Mysore and well-rated.
Placements: Placements are good enough for the Mechanical department. Good companies visit the campus, including Mercedes, Bosch, and other top companies. They conduct alumni talks and help students get placed in their companies. The college is one of the best in terms of placements and training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and carries the old legacy of the 90s era. The hostel facilities are good and include all the required amenities. The canteens are reasonably priced, and the people on campus are friendly and help without hesitation. Overall, the infrastructure is good enough.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent in terms of teaching and helping students. The exams are moderately difficult, as it is a core branch. The internal examinations are easy to score in, which helps students maintain a good CGPA. The curriculum is well-structured. The lessons and objectives are good for each academic year.

Placements: It had offered a 90% placement guarantee for the last year. The highest package was 30 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. The average was 7 to 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. 90% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities for our course were good. Wi-Fi was available. Labs had all the necessary equipment. A library was available for studying and reading books. The hostel facilities were good according to the conditions in our city. The mess food was acceptable. The sports facilities were also decent.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified, educated, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum was relevant and placement-ready. The semester examinations were easy. Teachers were also good at exam evaluation. Around 90% of students appeared for the examinations easily.
