I am satisfied because of faculty and people in Mysore are very good.
Placements: Around 81% were placed last year, and the highest salary package offered was 51 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Volvo, Infosys, Mercedes-Benz, and many others. There are good placement opportunities in our college, especially for core branches. Top roles offered are developing engineering and testing engineering.
Infrastructure: Food is good, and all sports equipment are available. There is scope for sports in our college. Mess and canteens are fully cleaned and hygienic in our college. Food is also tasty in our college. Still, some medical facilities should be better.
Faculty: Teachers are fully friendly with students and their teaching style is also good and understandable. Course curriculum is very good and it also helps in building students' skills practically and theoretically. Semester exams in our college are a bit difficult and pass percentage is 6.5 CGPA.
Other: I was interested in ECE branch. Still, use of technology should be better. There are fewer events in our college and campus crowd is average.

Satisfied with the college and placements are excellent.
Placements: In 2023, there were 120 students in the ECE department, out of which 116 students participated in placements. Around 56 students got salary package of over 10 LPA. Placement cell is good. Recruiting companies like Texas Instruments, Samsung, and L&T offer high salary packages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in labs and classrooms. Library is good. Sports event is conducted, which is good. I don't stay in a hostel, but from what I have heard from my friends, it's worth joining. There are some negative comments as well.
Faculty: Faculty is excellent. The course curriculum is good. There is a CIE which is internal and SEE which is a semester-end exam. After the semester-end exam, there is two to three weeks' holiday for students, which is good. After every semester, there is one to two months' holidays.
Other: Fests and events are organized every month. College life is awesome.

My college life was average with difficult curriculum and average placements
Placements: About 90 percent students are usually placed every academic year from our batch. Highest package was 34 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Texas instruments, National Instruments, Samsung Nokia, Deloitte, Bosch, Cisco.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is mediocre with basic facilities available. Campus life is little boring as the fests and events conducted here are not that grand. It is an academic oriented college with more exposure towards course and curriculum. Sports facilities are also not that great.
Faculty: Faculty is quite good most are PhD holders. They have good understanding over concepts and very dedicated and committed while they are teaching and encourage students to take part in many core club events so that they will get good exposure towards the subject knowledge.

The hidden secret of NIE.
Placements: The placements are pretty good in our college compared to others. The average package goes up to INR 11 LPA for the teaching branches. The placement is the only thing that makes this college better than other colleges. The average package for the other branches is around INR 8.5–9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is pretty good, but it is outside of the college, and the food is really bad. The hostel has common washrooms for the entire floor, and they have only triple sharing for boys, but girls have some pretty good options, and their hostel is inside the college.
Faculty: The faculty here is mixed, like some are pretty average while some are exceptional, but everyone has at least a master's degree. The curriculum here is decided as per the college's case; it is autonomous, and the timetable of the exam is also decided by the college itself.

Our college is very good in terms of placements.
Placements: About 96% of students got placed on campus. The remaining students went for startups and further studies. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. There is an elevator facility in all buildings. The library has more than 1,00,000 books. Classrooms have boards and projectors. There are 2 canteens and 2 messes in our college. They provide good food at better prices. The hostel is behind our college.
Faculty: Many teachers are doctorates. They are Ph.D. holders. Most of them are strict in terms of attendance. Courses are selected by students. The majority of courses chosen by students are allotted for the semester. Exams are conducted very strictly. The passing marks are 40.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in signal and radio analysing. The infrastructure of our college should be improved. Our college conducts a fest named Technieks. It is held every year in our college. It is a good fest. Our college holds the national record for launching 1,000 websites at a time on March 1st, 2023. Infosys chairman and founder persuaded electrical engineering.
