Pramitha S S has scored 182.5 in NATA 2020 that helped her to be among one of all India toppers of (NATA) 2020 entrance examination. She focussed on her preparation for the entrance test after class 12 board exams. By attempting mock tests on a regular basis, she came to know her preparation levels and weak areas for improvement.
Shiksha.com got an exclusive interview today where she explained about the preparation strategy she followed for NATA 2020 and also her plans for higher studies. Excerpts:
Q. What was your preparation strategy to get good marks in NATA 2020?

A. I started my preparation after class 12. I prepared well for class 12 board exams that helped me in getting good marks. I also appeared for mock tests prepared by D Q Labs regularly to assess my preparation. I revised almost every topic during my preparation.
Q. How much you used to study daily? How did you keep yourself fit during the studies?
A. My board exams were over in March 2020. After boards, I started preparing for the NATA 2020. In December and January, I took drawing classes for NATA but not for any other subject. I focussed on the aptitude section as well. I focussed on questions related to buildings and architecture.
To make myself stress-free, I used to draw and attended dance classes.
Q. How did your parents help in the NATA 2020 preparation?
A. My parents used to help me a lot in my preparation. They never let me stressed about the marks or preparation. My father helped me in getting latest information about buildings and architecture.
Q. What will be your preferred institute after qualifying NATA 2020?
A. I have applied for TNEA and COMEDK counselling. I will try to choose the best college as per my score. I am also thinking to pursue a course from Anna University.
Q. After BArch what are your plans means a job or higher education?
A. I want to do masters in architecture or design but I haven't decided yet. I will choose it after completing my course.
