NATA 2026 Application Form: The NATA 2026 application form link will be provided below. Candidates can also access the NATA application form 2026 online at nata.in. The tentative date of the NATA 2026 application form is February 2026. The final date for submitting the NATA application form will be announced soon. While filling the application form of NATA 2026, the candidates will have to register, fill out the form, upload scanned documents, pay the fee and submit the form. The NATA registration process must be completed before the last date. All the details provided in the NATA 2026 application form must be correct and correspond with the candidate's documents. Candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria of NATA 2026 before registration. Candidates can apply for the NATA 2026 exam a maximum of three times. Candidates need to pay the NATA application fee. The authorities will provide the candidates with the facility to correct/edit the details submitted in the NATA application form. How to fill out the NATA 2026 application form?

Candidates can follow given steps to fill NATA application form 2026. 

Step 1: Register for NATA 2026

To begin with, candidates will have to visit official website and click on NATA 2026 - Registration tab. After this, candidates will have to first create a login ID and password. To be able to do the same, they will have to fill a form that requires the following details about the candidate:

  • Name 
  • Gender
  • Date of birth 
  • Mobile number 
  • Email id 
  • Unique password 
  • Security question

Once the above details and filled in and submitted, candidates will receive an email on their registered ID containing the application number and password. This has to be preserved for future logins on the website.   

Step 2: Log in and fill NATA 2026 application form 

To fill out the NATA application form, candidates will first have to log in to the official website using their registered credentials. Once successfully logged in, candidates can begin filling out the application form for NATA 2026. 

Step 3: Upload scanned copies of the required documents  

After successfully submitting the duly filled NATA application form, candidates will be asked to upload scanned copies of the following documents: 

  • Candidate's recent passport-size photograph 
  • Candidate's signature

The above documents have to be in black/ blue ink only in jpg/jpeg format. The page size of the document is to be in A4 format. The following are the details regarding the size and dimension of the documents::

After submitting application form, candidates will have to pay NATA application fee. Application fee can be paid using Netbanking / Credit Cards / ICICI Bank Challan.

Documents to be preserved after filling NATA 2026 application form

  • Confirmation page 
  • Receipt of payment of the application fee
  • A copy of the prefilled NATA application form 

Once the payment is done, the confirmation page will be generated. The generation of the confirmation page means that  candidate has been successfully registered. Candidates should take a printout and preserve the confirmation page for future reference. There is no need to send any document to CoA by post. A printout of the Confirmation page will not provide admittance to the Test Centre to take the examination. The candidate has to print the admit card when issued online as per the schedule.

Q:   I am an NRI candidate. Since I do not have an Aadhaar Card, how can I apply for NATA?
A: 

In the case of NRI candidates, they will be able to apply for NATA with their passports. The candidates mus submit their passport details and other important information, while filling out the NATA application form. It is also to be noted that the application fee for the NRI candidates will be different than the Indian students. For one attempt, the application fee for the NRI candidates is INR 10,000 and for two attempts, it is INR 20,000. If the NRI candidate wishes to attempt all phases of NATA, then they will have to pay INR 27,000. The payment has to be done online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. 

Q:   Do I need to send the NATA application confirmation page to the authorities?
A: 

No. The candidates are not required to send the NATA application confirmation page to the authorities. After downloading and printing out the confirmation page, the candidates are advised to keep it safe for future use. Since it might be required at any given time during the admission process, the candidates should have it ready if it is seeked by the authorities. It is to be noted that the NATA application confirmation page will not be accepted for entry in the examination centre. 

Q:   Which documents have to be preserved after submitting the NATA application form?
A: 

Candidates are advised to keep certain documents after completing NATA registration process. Since these documents are needed during admission process, candidates are advised to be careful and keep it safe. Some documents that might be required later in admission process are: Copy of the filled NATA application form. Confirmation page. Application fee receipt.

NATA 2026 Application Correction Facility

CoA will provide the registered candidates with the facility to edit/correct their previously submitted details in the NATA 2026 application form. The correction facility will be available separately for every phase of the application. It is a one-time facility, and the authorities will not accept requests for corrections after the final date. The given steps can be followed to access the NATA 2026 application form correction facility. 

  • Go to nata.in
  • Log in using the email ID and password 
  • Click on "Application Correction"
  • Correct the errors/ incomplete information and submit 

Please note that no extra fee will be charged to the candidates to use the application correction facility. However, candidates will have to pay an extra fee when making changes in their category or the number of papers they opt for. The application fee for general category candidates will be slightly higher than that for the reserved category. Also, candidates appearing for more than one session will have to pay more than those appearing for a single session.

Q:   Do I need to pay while making changes through the NATA application form correction facility?
A: 

The candidates will not have to pay any fee while editing or making changes in the basic details of the NATA application form. However, there will be some categories, where extra charges have to be given to make any changes. For example. if the candidate wishes to make changes in the number of attempts or their category, then some extra fee will have to be paid. If the candidate wishes to change their category from reserved to general, then they will have to pay the difference in the application fee. Also candidates who opt for more examination attempts than their previously selected ones will have to pay the fee difference online.

Q:   When will NATA 2026 application form correction facility be available?
A: 

NATA 2026 application form correction facility is not open yet. Candidates will be able to access the correction facility after the NATA application process is over. A separate correction facility was expected to be open for the different phases of NATA 2026. Through this facility, the candidates would have been able to edit/correct the details that they had previously submitted in the application form. 

Q:   Will all details be open for editing through the NATA application correction facility?
A: 

No. The candidates have to note that not all details will be open for editing through the NATA application correction facility. Some of the basic details such as name, date of birth, email address and more will not be open for editing/correction. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while filling out the NATA application form. Candidates will be able to edit their categories and the number of papers opted for, however, they will be required to pay the fee difference.

  • Read the online instructions carefully before filling in the application form online.
  • Specify all personal information, address, and date of birth correctly.
  • Remember your application number, security question/answer, and password.
  • Choose the examination zones correctly.
  • Upload a colour photograph and signature of specified size only
  • Retain a copy of the Confirmation Page.

Don'ts

  • Don’t divulge your application number, security question/answer, or password to anybody.
  • Don’t give the wrong/unused mobile number and email ID during the form fill-up.
  • The candidates are advised to ensure that the email address furnished in the application form is active. Failing, they may face serious problems for any future correspondence.
  • Don’t upload poor-quality scanned photographs and signatures.
  • Don't send a duly filled-in Confirmation Page or any document through the post to the CoA office.

Q:   When will NATA 2026 application form be available?
A: 

NATA 2025 registration will start in February 2026. Candidates can fill out the NATA application form 2026 online at nata.in. The authorities do not accept offline applications for NATA 2026. All of the details submitted in the application form have to be valid and as per the documents possessed by the candidates. The required fee has to be paid online.

Q:   What is the NATA application fee?

Q:   Do we need to send the print out of the NATA application form to the authorities?
A: 

No. The candidates are not required to send the print out of the NATA application form to the authorities. Since the entire process of the NATA application form is online, the authorities will not accept any offline documents. While filling out the application form, the candidates are required to provide the details, pay the fee and submit the form. The authorities will not accept applications after the final date.

Q:   Will the NATA application fee be refunded for any valid reason?
A: 

No, The authorities will not entertain any requests regarding the refund the NATA application fee for any reason. The candidates will also not be able to request for adjustments in the NATA application fee as it is fixed by the authorities. Only if the examination is canceled, then the authorities will refund the application fee. Therefore, the candidates are advised to fill out and pay the application fee carefully. NATA application fee can be paid online through net banking/credit card/debit card/ICICI Sure Bank Challan.

Q:   When did the NATA application process start?
A: 

The NATA application process will officially open in February 2026, when registration link goes live on Council of Architecture's website. Candidates must start creating login, filling in personal and academic details, uploading photo and signature, and paying application fee starting February 2026. After registering, they have the flexibility to apply for one, two, or all three exam sessions (March, June, and July/August).

Q:   What is the last date to submit the NATA application form?
A: 

The authorities have not yet announced NATA 2026 application form last date for the additional exam dates. The candidates will be required to fill and submit NATA application form by the final date. The authorities will not entertain any requests or applications after the final date. If candidates do not submit their application form before the final date, they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria to give NATA exam?
A: 

CoA has revised the NATA eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to check the official NATA eligibility criteria before starting the registration process. The revised eligibility criteria of NATA is given below.

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed the 10+3 diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates should qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA i.e., JEE Main or NATA, which is conducted by CoA.
