Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will allot exam centres for June 2025 exams according to the learner’s choices. In case, the seats have been filled, students may choose the alternate exam centre under the jurisdiction of the same Regional Centre. IGNOU results 2025 are released in two cycles for January and June cycle exams. Students of various UG and PG courses such as MBA, MA, PG Diploma, UG Diploma, BA, MSc, BSc and B.Ed, among others, appear for IGNOU semester-end exams every year. While registering for IGNOU entrance exam or semester exam, students select an examination centre. IGNOU 2025 admit card mentions the exam centre where the students need to come on the day of examination. IGNOU exam centres are all across the country. Below are some of the exam centres of IGNOU:

IGNOU Exam Centre 2025: Exam Day Instructions
IGNOU Hall Ticket lists a instructions that students need to follow when coming for the exam. Check below some of the important ones:
The Indira Gandhi National Open University offer admission on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is no set seat intake at the open universities. Hence, the seat count is directly proportional to the number of applicants. IGNOU BSc seat allotment is merit-based, except for PB BSc Nursing course. For the nursing course, seats are allotted based on scores in OPENNET exam. Candidates can get a seat in the course by registering on the IGNOU admission portal in online mode.

- Examinees must carry a valid IGNOU Identity Card during the examination. If for some reason, the examinee does not have his/ her valid IGNOU identity card, they may show any valid Photo Identity card issued by any Government Institution for entry into the examination hall.
- Students appearing for the exam should not carry Mobile Phones or any electronic gadgets inside the Examination Hall at the time of Examination.
- Entry into the examination hall shall be closed after 15 minutes of the distribution of the question paper. However, the Centre Superintendent may condone the delay up to 30 minutes on account of a bonafide reason.
- No Supplementary Answer sheet will be provided in any case.
- Students are advised to keep a copy of their admit card in good condition for future reference.
Change of IGNOU Examination Centre
After submitting the IGNOU examination form, if learners wish to change their examination centre, an online portal will be opened for 5 days. Candidates are advised to submit their requests through the portal.
IGNOU Hall Ticket 2025
Candidates can download the admit card by providing the enrollment number and course. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) releases admit cards for two types of exams-semester and IGNOU entrance exam.
Additionally, IGNOU admit card is also available for some of the practical examinations. Candidates appearing for any of the exams conducted by IGNOU need to download their admit card. Usually, admit cards are released a month prior to the exam schedule. Registered aspirants can find their IGNOU admit card online on the official website of the university.
For the IGNOU MBA course, the minimum aggregate is 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Candidates must hold the pass certificates (original/ copies) at the time of admission. These documents are required for verification purposes. The open university verifies that the applicants meet the eligibility requirements before offering seats.
Yes, the Indira Gandhi National Open University registrations are open for the 2024-25 admission year. The application deadline was extended to Oct 31 for the Jul session by the university. The registrations are open for fresh admissions and re-registrations. Candidates seeking admission must submit their application on or before the prescribed due date. The registration procedure is completely online.
IGNOU Study Centre 2025
Candidates must note that they will be allotted IGNOU study centre as per their accommodation. The list of Indira Gandhi National Open University study centre is provided in the Programme Guide. IGNOU designates a coordinator to every study centre who moderates various activities at the centre. In addition to this, the university also assigns counselors to students as per their courses to offer counseling and guidance to its students in the respective courses.

BSc (Home Science) specialisation in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition or PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition or Graduate (BSc Hons) or equivalent (MBBS, BHHS, etc.) from the following background – Home Science/ Food Science and Technology, Life Science, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical, Catering along with the DNHE or CNCC or CFN offered by IGNOU (simultaneous admission for CFN/ CNCC is also permitted)
Counselling and Family Therapy
Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university
Environmental Science
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline Science/ Engineering/ Agricultural Science/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science from a recognised university
Mathematics with Application in Computer Science
- Graduate with a major or Hons in Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate - If the seats at a centre remain vacant then: Graduate with a BA/ BSc degree with Mathematics as one of the three main subjects with equal weightage, with at least 50% aggregate and 55% aggregate in the Mathematics
