NIT Mizoram Cutoff 2019: Check Category-Wise JEE Main Cutoff Ranks

For the First and Final rounds, the NIT Mizoram cutoff 2022 was released by JoSSA . It was released as per the Home State and Home State Female; All India and All India Female. The CSE Final Round for the General Category ended at 26401. For OBC category, the CSE had the Last Round of 8567.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) released National Institute of Technology Mizoram cutoff 2019. For Round 1 and Final Rounds, cutoffs for All India, All India Female, Home State, and Home State Female were made public. Students with valid JEE Main scores were asked to register for the JoSAA counselling round for various BTech and BTech Integrated course options. Students with scores between the opening and closing cutoffs were invited to participate in the counselling rounds. A: 

 NIT Mizoram JEE Main cutoff 2026 was published for admission to the BTech and its various branches for both the OBC AI and HS quota categories. The cutoff has been released for the first round in the form of ranks. 

For the OBC AI quota, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 11344 to 17156, with BTech CSE and BTech in Civil Engineering being the most and least competitive branches for admission. 

On the other hand, for the OBC HS quota, the same round cutoff was only declared for one branch, ie, BTech CSE with the cutoff of 539090

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for PhD at NIT Mizoram?
A: 

For, Engineering courses, students need to qualify GATE exam and for non-Engineering courses, students need to qualify for the NET exam. However, one needs to be a graduate or post-graduate in a relevant stream.

  • For Engineering specialisations, candidates must have completed their PG degree in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or 60% aggregate in the qualifying exam or have a bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology in a relevant area with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 or 70% aggregate and with a valid GATE score
  • For Science specialisations, candidates must have completed their PG degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on 10 point scale or 60% aggregate in the qualifying exam (No scholarships are awarded to these candidates)
  • For HSS specialisations (Economics/ English), candidates must have completed their PG degree in Economics/ English with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 in 10-point scale or 55% aggregate in the qualifying exam

There is a relaxation of 5% for the SC and ST category candidates.

NIT Mizoram has a sanction of around 200 seats for admission in BTech programme. For admission at MTec, NIT Mizoram offers 50 seats with five specialisations and 2 years of course duration. The Institute also offers PhD in various specialisations along side the UG and PG level programmes.

Yes, NIT Mizoram offer meritorious scholarships. The institute offers scholarships through NSP (National Scholarship Portal). Financial assistance is provided to meritorious students, SC/ ST, etc. Scholarships are also offered on the basis of entrance scores.
