Pune University Result 2020

Pune University is now officially known as Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The University has released semester-wise, revaluation result for all of its UG and PG courses on the official website, www.unipune.ac.in. The University conducts the odd semester examination in December or January and even semester examination in May or June. The semester results are declared within two months of exam date. Students seeking their semester results should have a valid seat number.

Pune University Result 2020

Pune University (PU) has announced results for BE, BA LLB, BArch, B.P.Ed, BSc, BHMCT, BBA, MSc, MCA, MBA, MCom and various other courses. The results are declared on the official website and also might be displayed on the notice boards of the University and affiliated colleges. Students can also check their PU semester results for their respective courses directly by clicking on the links mentioned below in the table:

Steps to check Pune University Semester Result

Students should follow the below steps to get PU semester results from the official website:

Step I: Students should first visit the official website of Pune University, www.unipune.ac.in

Step II: Students need to then click on the ‘Students Corner’ section

Step III: On the drop-down menu of ‘Students Corner’ section, click on ‘Results’ tab

Step IV: Students will be redirected to the results page

Step V: Students need to select their choice of results such as Online Result/ Result Summary or Revaluation Result

Step VI: Students should then enter their Seat No. and Mother’s Name and finally click on ‘Show Result’

Step VII: Students, after submitting their details can see their result on their screen. Students can also download PDF and print it for their future reference

Note: Student must verify the details on the result page such as name, roll no., course, branch, semester, status, subject name, marks, etc. For any discrepancy reach out to the concerned authorities of Pune University.

Pune University Marksheet 2020

The University releases provisional result online. After the result declaration, the University sends the mark sheet to the affiliated colleges. Students can collect their semester/ annual mark sheet from their respective college office. The mark sheet consists of the below-mentioned information:

  • Title of statement of marks
  • Seat number
  • Permanent registration number
  • Centre name
  • Name of student
  • Student’s father and mother name
  • College name
  • Subject code, subject name, external and internal marks allotted 
  • Grand total, result status and medium of instruction

Pune University Revaluation Result 2020

Students can also check their revaluation result online by following the steps below:

Step I: Visit the official website

Step II: Click on ‘Results’ tab on the ‘Students Corner’ section

Step III: On landing on to the next page click on ‘Online Revaluation Result’

Step IV: Select ‘View Result’ on the listing page

Step V: Select the Exam and search by Seat Number or PRN Number and finally click on ‘Submit’

Pune University Grading Scheme

Pune University grading scheme is done based on the scheme called Credit Based Course Scheme (CBCS). Under CBCS scheme students must complete their degree programme within the given time duration, also credits are fixed for each semester as set by the respective department. Student’s performance is evaluated on the basis of cumulative marks scored in the end semester and internal assessment. The weightage of internal assessment test and end semester result is 50 per cent each. The student must score at least 40 per cent in the internal assessment test and 30 per cent in the semester-end assessment separately.
