Perfect College and Course Combination

The choice of college and course is one of those crucial choices in the academic career and Thapar University has been nothing short of perfection coupled with an important field in BTech for pursuing Electronics and Computer Engineering. Thapar University is renowned for its infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities and impressive achievements in industry throughout all its years.

The reason it has always attracted me since the very beginning is for its academic rigor complemented by an innovative culture. It is a perfect place for technical education and ensures a proper balance between theoretical and practical learning. BTech in ECE course at Thapar University befits my interest and long-range career goals with its adequate curriculum of electronics, programming, and computational theory.

Thapar University differs from others because of the amalgamation of conventional Engineering principles with modern and state-of-the-art technologies. The professors are experienced and they encourage students towards challenges pertaining to practical projects. Considering the combination of all these, along with the learning environment found at the progressive end, Thapar University was a perfect destination for me to pursue B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering

Q:   Is Thapar University good for BE/ BTech CSE?

Path to Choosing This Course

While studying in Class 12, I started to delve into Applied Technology. I became more convinced that it was ‘coding’ that would fetch me a good placement and build a secure career. After attending a few coding lectures, I realised that I am not interested in Coding. After that, I started thinking about my career and what I should do, but it was Electronics that I was really fascinated with. During Class 10, working with embedded systems, digital circuits and their programming really intrigued me a lot. This had everything to do with opening up to an entirely new world, from telecommunications to artificial intelligence; such factors drew me toward studying ECE.

I chose this institute after a lot of research. I was searching for an institute that would provide a sound academic foundation and also important to the holistic development of the student through extracurricular activities and industrial exposure. Thapar's excellent record of achievement in Technical Education and the partnerships assured me that it would be an ideal match for my needs.

Passion for The Course

The thing that gets me excited about my course is being at the edge of technological innovation. Working in a continuously changing and dynamic environment, Electronics and Computer Engineering bring about each new day in innovations such as Machine Learning, Robotics and IoT. Therefore, this course offered me the possibility of building up both an analytic and creative ability in designing and innovating.

Q:   Is BSc available at Thapar University?
Q:   Is it worth to pursue MBA from Thapar?

From projects related to the design of the circuitry to the development of software for real-time systems, the scope at Thapar can always keep students motivated and involved throughout.

My passion is widely influenced by the unlimited applications it offers in various sectors, including but not limited to Robotics, Telecommunication and Automation. Every new lecture, new project and practical exposure nurtured my interest in joining the next revolution of technological advancement.

The Impact of College Life on My Growth

Research and Development at Thapar encouraged me to go on with taking up independent projects, increasing my problem-solving skills and nurturing creativity in the process. This institute has encouraged me to come out of my comfort zone, participate in the ‘Hackathons’ and engage in different social initiatives.

Cracking My College Admission

Getting admission to Thapar University was a challenging yet rewarding experience. The admission process for the BTech program required me to appear for the JEE Main exam, which tests both aptitude and knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I got 93.25 % in the JEE Mains 2022 examination which is #60,581 rank among lakhs of aspirates competing for a good, respectable rank.

The admissions process at Thapar is smooth and transparent. And when I received the offer, I knew I had made the right decision.

My College Experience

The ECE curriculum is challenging, but it also gives worthwhile returns. I enjoyed the hands-on classes specially in circuit designing. I am actively involved in many clubs where I work to develop my skills in areas such as Photography and Video Editing. These clubs also provide a space for collaboration with like-minded people.

I also participated in Hackathons and Coding Competitions organised by the college. These enhanced my skills and made me aware of the latest trends in the industry.

My college experience has made me more confident, resilient and forward-thinking. Now, I look forward to leveraging these qualities in the professional world. Thapar University has not only provided me with the tools and knowledge to succeed in my field but it has also made me a well-rounded person, ready to take on the challenges of the technological world of the future.
