Path to Choosing This Course

While studying in Class 12, I started to delve into Applied Technology. I became more convinced that it was ‘coding’ that would fetch me a good placement and build a secure career. After attending a few coding lectures, I realised that I am not interested in Coding. After that, I started thinking about my career and what I should do, but it was Electronics that I was really fascinated with. During Class 10, working with embedded systems, digital circuits and their programming really intrigued me a lot. This had everything to do with opening up to an entirely new world, from telecommunications to artificial intelligence; such factors drew me toward studying ECE.

I chose this institute after a lot of research. I was searching for an institute that would provide a sound academic foundation and also important to the holistic development of the student through extracurricular activities and industrial exposure. Thapar's excellent record of achievement in Technical Education and the partnerships assured me that it would be an ideal match for my needs.

From projects related to the design of the circuitry to the development of software for real-time systems, the scope at Thapar can always keep students motivated and involved throughout.

My passion is widely influenced by the unlimited applications it offers in various sectors, including but not limited to Robotics, Telecommunication and Automation. Every new lecture, new project and practical exposure nurtured my interest in joining the next revolution of technological advancement.
