To get a top college in KCET a score of 160+ marks out of 180 is generally considered good. This score will help students secure a top rank in top institutes.

KCET ranks are calculated using 50% of KCET marks and 50% of the qualifying 2nd PUC core subject marks.

Each paper of KCET exam is conducted for 80 minutes. The Kannada language exam of KCET will be conducted for 60 minutes for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. To take Admission in JSS University Candidates have to clear the PGCET/Gate entrance exam.
