Absolutely satisfied with faculty as they are helpful. Good placement and internship opportunity .
Placements: As I have previously mentioned, I am a civil engineering student, and my mostly college placement for civil engineering is not that good. But in thapar University, civil engineering placements are decent, with the highest package of 14.6 LPA. The companies which come on campus for civil engineering are L&T and the government. Companies and many more
the lowest package is about 4 LPA and average package is 7 to 7.5 LPA
Most students get internship.
Infrastructure: For my first year, I lived in hostel J, which had mostly non-air-conditioned rooms. If you want AC rooms in your first year, you have to opt for 3 sitters to 2 sitters in hostels K and H. Every hostel has its own gym, and most gyms have new products as they keep changing from time to time. The food at Hostel J is good; it has adequate spices and is freshly prepared. Talking about classes and libraries, they are some of the best in the whole country. Thapar's library is one of the best in Asia and has an award for best design. The whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, even at canteens.
Faculty: Most of the teachers at Thapar University are from IIT and have Ph.D.s in their respective courses. Teachers are helpful and share their numbers with everyone for personal one-on-one talks if needed. I think the curriculum for civil engineering is relevant, as we are taught about computer software rather than old ways such as on paper. The labs are well-equipped and have every machine needed. Semester examinations are not that difficult if you study every day for 2 hours. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I think Thailand has one of the best civil engineering faculties, and that's why I have opted for it. Fests are held from time to time in every semester. On the previous festival, Mohit Chauhan came as a singer. It was a really nice experience. The crowd was good, and everyone was enjoying themselves.

It has great placements, great faculty, and a good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost everyone got placed by the seventh semester. Students mostly get internships and full-time jobs. Even a few who were not placed had their reasons, like they were going for their master's. Students in the computer science branch got an average salary package of 12 LPA to 13 LPA, and even placements in core branches were decent. Top recruiters were Amazon, JP Morgan, Deloitte, and Oracle.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Thapar keeps on updating. Although it's quite expensive, it includes everything one needs. New lecture theatres and classrooms have been constructed. They are fully air-conditioned and have a new library. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. There are a lot of options for hostels. 1, 2, and 3 seaters with air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms are available. All the facilities, like a mess, canteen, medical facilities, gym, and table tennis table, are available.
Faculty: Faculty members at Thapar University are a strong point. The faculty here are both new and old. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is designed for students to really feel comfortable, and there is really not much pressure. The semester includes sessional, midterms, and end terms. The syllabus is accordingly distributed. Overall, the passing criteria are 33% and 25% in mst + est.
Other: I chose civil engineering because I was passionate about infrastructure and developing it. It's great because our faculty helped me maintain that.

Thapar University is one of the best universities for engineering in India, being a private one.
Placements: Placement starts from the 5th semester you can complete it anytime outside the campus. Top recruiting companies here include Airtel, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and many more. Almost 98% of the students got an internship during their degree. For civil this university is not that good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure depends on the hostel you get. But almost all hostels are good. Iconic Hostel M is multistory boys' hostel having state-of-the-art facilities. The institute has 13 hostels, 8 for boys and 5 for girls with all basic facilities including water coolers with gym room, TV room, air-conditioned reading room, table tennis room, night canteen, RO water, washing machines and geyser all the bathrooms, indoor games, lawns, and wi-fi connectivity.
Faculty: Teachers are not that much help, they are not available at exam times. Exams are of average difficulty, the pass percentage here is 33%. The faculty members are well qualified and Ph.D. holders, but the faculty of civil is not that good, not sure if they make students industry-ready.

Review of the core branch at Thapar University.
Placements: The placements are average in the civil engineering department. L & T, Honda, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, etc., are major recruiters in the core. TCS, JP Morgan, Salesforce, Optum, and Trident also recruited students in non-core fields. Placements are degrading day by day because of the large intake of students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best among the north region's colleges in India. It has numerous different kinds of playgrounds and also has a 6-foot-deep swimming pool. Thapar provides 24*7 ambulance and health care facilities. It also has a shopping complex in which all kinds of shops are available. Different labs are also there for different subjects.
Faculty: Faculty members are some of the best and most highly trained among all private colleges. Students are provided with all the practical knowledge related to their respective subjects. Students are free to clear doubts and visit labs anytime throughout the day.

I am highly satisfied with this college life and sports.
Placements: Around half of the students are placed from our batch. Placements are of two types tech and non-tech. The main recruiting company is JP Morgan. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The top role offered in non-tech is an analyst.
Infrastructure: In this college, classrooms are air-conditioned. Laboratories are fully furnished with air conditioners, and Wi-Fi connectivity is also available. There is a 4-floor library with super-fast Wi-Fi and a high capacity to be occupied by students. Sports facilities are good for all sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is practical and application-based. Experiments related to the field are performed. Semester exams are difficult but students can pass them studying a week before the exam.

This college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students are placed, among core civil, the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA by EIL. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA, and almost all students have done internships as provided by our university. Students get placed in JP Morgan, Tata, Aakash Institute, Byjus, L&T, several companies, and environment-based companies.
Infrastructure: As far as infrastructure is concerned I can blindly recommend Thapar if has one of the best infrastructure and hostels. Our lecture theatres are good, and it also provides laboratories. The mess food is also great, and it has all the basic amenities included, and the sports facilities at Thapar are also world-class.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and most of them have either degrees from reputed Indian and global universities or have very long experience or both. Almost all teachers have a Ph.D. and they know how to teach. As far as the curriculum is concerned, it needs improvement but still, it makes students ready for the world. If exams are considered they are moderate and check true knowledge, and the pass percentage is 85%.
Other: I always wanted to become an IES officer and civil engineering is the best way to go accordingly to me I had a decent JEE mains score but I wanted to stay close to my family so I opted for Thapar, and I also get scholarships here. Thapar truly needs improvement in its management.

Quite expensive, really good infrastructure and hostels for 3rd and 4th year students.
Placements: The package in computer Science branch is quite more as compared to other core branches. All the major companies visit the campus. Around 70-80% students get placed here and some go for masters and some start their own startups. Average package in computer Science branch is 13-14 lacs per annum and in other core branch it 6-9 lacs.
Infrastructure: I must really say that Infrastructure of thapar is one of the best infrastructure of any college across country. It's one of the best to be honest. It's a lush green campus where sometimes peacocks are also visible. It's a 300 acre huge campus. And in 3rd or 4th year boys get iconic M hostel and girls get iconic N hostel which is no less than a resort. The mess food is quite good.
Faculty: The teachers are pretty qualified and few are also good in nature too. You might form a bond with some of these teachers too. The course curriculum is somewhat of more of a practical knowledge but in online mode, thapar, I guess is doing blunders by taking online labs which is not providing students the practical knowledge of that subject.
Other: Thapar is spread over 300 acres and it's a green lush campus where there are a lot of hangout places and eating spots. There is also Nirvana park. And in recent years thapar has developed a 5 storey huge library consisting of 1 Lac + books. The fests organized are one of the best in state.

Thapar Institute is better than many NITs and private colleges.
Placements: Thapar Institue has a specially designated cell for the placements. Over 300 companies visit the college for placements. Almost 90% of the COE students will get placed when it comes to civil engineering. Around 25-30% of the students get placed in the core companies with an average salary package of 5 LPA-6LPA.
Infrastructure: The civil department has all the labs fitted with advanced equipment. The classrooms are very good and well, with high-speed Wi-Fi available all over the campus. The hostels are very well maintained and the food served is fabulous. Students are offered different hostels based on the year of study, these include air-conditioned, and non-air-conditioned rooms, single sharing, and multiple sharing rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well trained, and the offline exam curriculum is the best. But online it is not up to the mark. It is easy to pass the semester if you maintain proper attendance. Scoring good marks in the quizzes and labs helps us in improving grades.

Internships provided are quite good at Thapar as faculty have a strong corporate network. It has a dedicated training and placement cell that makes sure that every student gets an internship.
As well as now thapar uniersity came on 26th position on NIRF2021 Ranking.
